Well Hoke did say last week that AU had ramped things up with him. Still a nice surprise if true.

With Johnson and then White throwing to them just makes it that much better.

JJs passing will easily negate what Marshalls doing in the read option.

No way for us to know that right now. The best teams he's played is against Arkansas at home. JJ is far from a sure thing right now.

He has been impressive from what we've seen though.

We will need more creative playcalling each game with JJ at the helm. We won't be able to run a hand full of plays and lean on it like that.

The biggest key to our offense going forward will be getting a full back in place that can handle pass protection and blocking a linebacker out of a play on a run. Cox is a huge recruit for us and we will absolutely need him going forward.

I disagree, but that's a topic for another thread.

Did some asking around the SEC recruiting board and the LSU recruiting board about Tyron Johnson. They seem to think LSU isn't really in it for him. Has been a little wishy washy on who his leader is. Favored Texas Tech early on and Clemson recently.

I wouldn't say easily. Our passing game possibly will improve based on appearance, but JJ will need to be proficient in the read option. The team should still aspire to have strong rushing numbers of 200+ per game imo.

I hope with JJ passing the ball and the WR's we have on campus and coming in that Gus works with someone maybe a (retired) Steve Spurrier to help the passing game develop more

Yea we will "easily" not miss a beat from being one of the best offenses in the country and in Auburn history.

I don't mean to be a jerk but come on man. Statements like these make it pretty clear a lot of fans don't appreciate what we have at QB right now.

You do realize that Gus had a 5000 yard passer at Tulsa in Paul Smith. There have only been like 7 of those in the history of college football. I think we will be fine without help.

If our WRs don't herp derp next year we should be fine. We have Gus and Rhett who have had some big success with QBs and if they need any more help DCraig coached up back to back 1st round picks. Think our passing will be fine

I core of Tony Stevens, Marcus Davis, Ricardo Louis, and Melvin Ray does not have the wow factor that group with Sammie and Duke has but that is a solid group of guys for JJ to spread the ball around with. I am also looking forward to seeing Jakell Mitchell running some wheel routes. We are gonna be just fine on offense in 2015

For the love of Jaysus, can we please see some good news on defensive recruiting?

There has been good news, that's if you buys the positive report for AU on Payne and Beckner, which I think a good number of us don't on Payne at least.

NM has 698 yards rushing on the season

JJ could eclipse that passing in 2 games.

Like i said JJ's passing will easily negate what we lose in NMs rushing.

You don't need a running qb to have a successful run game.
