I'm worn out on recruiting. I can't imagine having to start this shite all over again today as a coach. No wonder some coaches hate recruiting.

Holsey will be a close down corner before all said and done. That kid has that type of talent and heart.

I haven't given up hope on Chris Davis. Injury concerns aside he is legit.

Jonathan Jones also is going to be pretty solid when things are said and done

I think Holsey has shown the most promise out of all the corners we've had.

Btw: this is my first time posting in a while, but I decided to jump back in. Lot of new faces but it's good to see some of you have stuck around

Someone asked about QBs in this class earlier. We offered Arky commit Rafe Peavey a couple of weeks ago. 247 aslso shows offers made by the old staff to David Cornwell, DeShaun Watson, and Jacob Park.

Don't let this get out, but we do have some foreign grantor trusts set up in tax havens for our big fish. Since it is a grantor trust we keep control of it. We keep them offshore so they stay hidden. Then when the player fullfils his end of the deal, we convert the trust to a non-grantor irrevocable trust and the player collects and takes over control of the dollar bills.

Keep it quiet though.

Which former Auburn Runningback has a son that's a runningback in the 2014 class?

I haven't heard about a RB but R Evans ,the LB from Auburn high school, is the son of former AU RB Alan Evans. He was the number #1 RB in the state and one of the top RB's in the nation but didn't play much and wound up transferring to Chattanooga due to some guy named Vincent Jackson getting all the carries.

Ok, that's probably who it is. Al.com posted this article/video about the 2014 class and mentioned the son of a former Aubunr player but Im not able to watch the video to find out who they're referring to

Note on Cornelius Elder: he truly wants to just play hoops, but has enormous pressure on him 2 play football. Football typically wins.Purdue
visit canceled.

We assured Corn Elder he still has a spot for football and basketball.

Toby Johnson I hear we are open to but not sure if Gus will close it down or not. Injury and grades are the biggest concern for him

I've never heard/read where T. Johnson has grade issues. Just the knee concern.

The reason football usually wins is you have more of a chance to make to the NFL than the NBA.

So you can do what you want for four years and then work a regular job the rest of your life or you can do your second favorite sport for a long time and not have to work at a regular job.

Rumor was when we stopped recruiting him was grade issues and that's the reason UGA stopped recruiting him too. We now think he can make the grades.

Truth.

If Elder wants a shot at playing a sport professionally, he should play football. But hey, it's his life. I hope he makes the decision he wants to make.
