That's a big kid!

He might eventually grow into a 6'4-6'5 safety like Ray-Ray Armstrong was for Miami and Falkner a couple years back, or might eventually have to transition to linebacker or defensive end. He's already a big kid. Was there any weight mentioned for him?

He also said he's always working on teammate and Alabama commit Stephen Roberts. Mitchell said he thinks Auburn can flip him before signing day.

I also spoke to Roberts and he said he's firm with Alabama, but he's listening. Roberts said his parents were in Auburn last weekend talking to the coaches.
What Justin Hoke reported on JaKell Mitchell:

Has the first page been updated to reflect the recent commits?

Been without Internet access since last Thursday. Will update when I get back from ATL

Tony Stephens was a great pickup. Underrated if you ask me. Runs like a damn gazelle and has big-time catch ability. He and Coates are home run threats.

Chase Robinson, a Texas Tech DE has decided to transfer to Auburn according to Hoke

quote:

The 6-foot-4 defensive end signed with Texas Tech last season, wooed to Lubbock by former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, but now is on his way to the Plains himself. Robison has accepted a scholarship offer from coach Gus Malzahn and will begin using his three remaining years of eligibility during the 2014 season.

Also, has anyone notice that everyone brings up Deshaun Davis? He is the most talked about 3* by other recruits considering his name never gets brought up by analysts/beat reporters
