Also, has anyone notice that everyone brings up Deshaun Davis? He is the most talked about 3* by other recruits considering his name never gets brought up by analysts/beat reporters

As soon as he's done with football, I'd offer him a coaching job just for recruiting purposes

The 6-foot-4 defensive end signed with Texas Tech last season, wooed to Lubbock by former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville, but now is on his way to the Plains himself. Robison has accepted a scholarship offer from coach Gus Malzahn
If true that will give us 23 for the 2013 class and put the max for the 2014 class at 27.

Per Rivals, Queen was the #1 offensive performer at the 7 on 7 in Hoover. Trusts his arm a lot, fit passes in tight windows, a couple WRs winced in pain on his slant passes (strong arm), very demanding and a perfectionist.

I believe he is a transfer and shouldn't count against scholarship limits
He redshirted at Tech last year

BTW My jimmies have been very rustled concerning Cammy Cam on the rant. I am going statistical and intangible arguments on this dumbass aggie fan's arse

Transfers who come in on scholly count against a team's 25 yearly initial counter limits. Prosh counted against the 2012 class remember. The only way a transfer does not count against a 25 limit is if he walks on for 2 football seasons before going on scholly. Redshirting has nothing to do with 25 initial counter limits.

That sounds stupid that a transfer counts

Don't think it will be a huge deal though will it? Sucks we signed ER though considering he didn't make it

Depends on how much attrition there is the next couple of years.

He and a few others, and why not? They will have been recruited by and along with the best there is. AU should have some pretty talented coaches coming through the ranks soon. There are several HS staffs being run by former AU players.

Uhh, JUCO's don't have to sit out a year.

That seems like a significant difference.

Why in God's name would we need LB depth? We only play 2 LBs and we have Owens, Frost, Cass, Swain, Javy, Toney, and Flowers all coming back for '14. Then signing Deshaun, Tre, and one more LB at least.

I'm sure this guy is for DE depth.

Just doesn't strike me as a DE at 225 lbs. Has enough speed to play LB

fwiw, an article I read from the Memphis paper said he transfered b/c TTU was moving to a 3-4 scheme and he saw himself as a true DE in a four man front like Auburn.

sounds like he's coming here to play end.

so he shouldn't count against signees until 2014?... i'd buy that.

fwiw, it 2014 he'll have 3 years to play 3... just like the JUCO DT we took a commitment from.

Does 247 not include Juco guys in their rankings? It's showing on the team rankings that we have zero 5*s (and on Dameyune's recruiting profile, too)

Where are seeing him listed at 225?

His bio has him closer to 240 as does the initial report.

Don't count Tre, He will end up at the bad place. They flipped Casher to get to him.
