I've been criticized for this on here before, but I won't be comfortable until Tre's LOI shows up on the fax machine simply because he's a top instate linebacker.
With good reason, but I feel pretty good about him sticking.
I don't like the vibe I get from his HS coach though.

got damn you peoples is depressing re: Ronnie. cause Jones has a bad feeling about the sitch? pathetic, peoples, really.
You may not like it, but you can't stomp out all point of views, because it isn't what you want to hear.
Nothing anyone says here is a 100% done deal. We are just giving our honest opinions. I would love to get every recruit and never lose a game, but it's just not going to happen.

I've learned to not get my hopes up about Auburn's chances with a recruit if Alabama is also involved with said recruit. They've beaten us out way too many times, for whatever reason you can name.
I'd love to have Ronnie Clark, though.

I hope you are right about Ronnie Clark, man.

The 247 interview just made him seem like he wasn't all that excited about Auburn. He couldn't remember Malzahn's name and he didn't have much to say good about us except it having a Family feel but they had to stop him from talking when he started listing what he liked about bama.

Adding to our OL drama 247 says Charles Moseley is a take for Bama at OG. If true and they get Cam Robinson that leaves 1 spot left for them at OL for Cash, Sims, and a few others. If the staff stays on Cash we should get 1 of Cash and Sims if not both.

Good article on Kennion LINK
quote:
When Raashed Kennion played in youth-league football, he was a self-described "chubby" offensive tackle. When he was a freshman in high school, he was six feet tall.
Now, he's got a body that has caught the eyes of college recruiters like Auburn's Rodney Garner.
Kennion has sprouted into a 6-foot-6, 228-pound defensive end at First Coast High in Jacksonville, Fla., transforming himself from that chubby tackle into a prospect that may have as much upside as any in Auburn's 2014 recruiting class.
"He's got the body and the frame," First Coast head coach Marty Lee said of Kennion, who recorded 55 tackles and six sacks last year. "I think that's what Auburn saw -- that in two years, he's going to grow into his body. He's got a great first step, he's got a good swim move and his head's on a swivel. I think the tools are there."
Kennion originally committed to Cincinnati and former Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville, whom he described as "a really cool coach." But earning an offer during a visit to an Auburn camp in June began the process of changing his mind, and he switched his commitment to Auburn last week.
"I feel real comfortable at Auburn," said Kennion, who added that being close enough for his mother to come watch him play was an added bonus. "I love the people at Auburn. They just made me feel at home. The 2014 recruits are already calling me family."
Garner also played a role, Kennion said. "I love coach Garner. He's cool on and off the field," he said. "He's kind of strict. I know he's going to bring the best out of me, because hard coaching is what I need.
"I just felt Auburn is going to bring the best out of me."
Job one is gaining weight, said Kennion, who believes he can eventually get up to 270 without losing much of his 4.65 speed. He's also hoping to graduate in December so he can be an early enrollee on the Plains.
If the weight comes slowly, Lee said he could also see Kennion, who also plays basketball and benches 300 pounds, as a tight end.
"The future for him is very bright," Lee said. "You can't teach speed and you can't teach size."
Kennion, a three-star prospect according to 247Sports and a two-star according to Rivals and Scout, is not the only First Coast player that Auburn's after. The Tigers have offered two of Kennion's teammates: 2015 linebacker Sherrod Pittman and 2014 defensive end Spencer Williams, who also earned an offer during that June camp but remains committed to Cincinnati.
"I'm going to work on him a little bit," Kennion said of Williams (6-4, 220), "but he didn't give me too much when I switched so I'm not going to give him too much."

Re: Queen ... Sharp kid. Self-possessed and articulate. Glad to have him. He better watch out, though, or he's going to need a mansiere.

Per an al.com interview, Stephen Roberts said Auburn is coming hard after him and he spoke to Gus last night. He did not seem very interested in Auburn in the video though.
