Fine. Kozan can start a year while he bulks up. If you count his HS senior year that gives him 3 years to bulk up. That's 13 pounds a year. Very doable. Especially given he has the 6'4 frame to hold it.

Also per KN Marshall was told to call the staff tomorrow about an Auburn offer.

This staff doesn't frick around, and I love it. If you want to play games with your recruitment, you can take a hike.

Casher says Malzahn was shocked when he received the call.

He said it's not right to be committed to a school and them think you're 100% with them if you're not.

Still respects and loves AU. no harsh feelings.

Wants to explore options.

Doesn't know if he'd consider AU again.

Claims no favorite.

with all due respect to cashier, that's a bunch of bull.

Regardless, I don't wish him any ill will... Guys have to do what they feel led to do. Can't fault someone for that.

Shane Callahan may be our next center. I remember hearing he's been working there some. Idk about Kozan, especially since he may be a starting guard this season

Nah. I'm glad he did it now, and not in Dec. Good luck to him.

Casher told Gus last Wednesday but still has not talked to Coach Craig. Quotes from Casher. LINK

quote:

I decommitted," Casher said. "I felt like it was the right thing to do to call them and tell them how I felt about the situation. I talked to Coach Malzahn. I think he was shocked, but I had to do it for me and I think it's the right thing for me to do.

I needed to do the thing that's right for me. It's not right for me to be playing games with a school and them believe I'm 100 percent if I'm not. I think calling Coach Malzahn was the right thing to do.

I still respect and love Auburn as a school. I have no harsh feelings towards Auburn," said Casher. "I think it's an amazing school and one of my favorite schools. I just felt like I was too early to commit and I wasn't expecting to be so overwhelmed.

Right now, I don't need to be committed anywhere. I wouldn't say Auburn isn't the best place for me, but I have to explore my options. I don't think I did that before I committed to Auburn.

I don't have a favorite, I really don't," Casher said. "People say Alabama is where you're going to go, but there are other places that I want to visit and there's schools that have offered me that I haven't ever visited. Texas A&M, Florida, USC -- schools I haven't ever visited because I've been committed.

On if he would recommit.
quote:

I don't know right now. That's the point of me decommitting," he said. "I honestly don't know.

I really think you will see Kozan move to center at some point in the future.

This is just my opinion but the more I think about it the more I think Bama does not really want or need Casher. I think it was a power move by them to slam our supreme confidence that Dameyune owned Mobile. I think it was them metaphorically trying to say we still own you mother truckers. Nothing more. Nothing less. Again JMO.

Wasn't Auburn one of the first schools to offer him when before he hit all the camps and got a name for himself? Basically, not many schools gave a shite about him when Auburn showed the love and now Auburn isn't good enough for him.

I hope that the coaches are proactive in dealing with wishy washy commitments like this and just cut ties.
