KN said he might be going to visit Clark...hmmm

Makes me wonder if an announcement could be coming and Clark didn't do any interviews so he could discuss it with his fam?

Probably just wishful thinking but man i'd love it if that were the case.

Wonder if he is any relation to Rueben Ranlde. The most happy day in his life!

btw-For some reason I thought Clark was all Bama, but I would love to have him. I got a feeling his recruitment will end up a wild one like Roc Thomas might.

12 months ago or so, most would've considered clark a likely Auburn lean, with Tre Williams a bama lean... things obviously can change pretty quickly.

Same goes for SDH.

He isn't the most vocal kid much like ROC, but the complete lack of any info does send a msg in it's self. I am feeling good about RC now, not predicting anything but IIRC bammers had him on a commit watch at one point months ago and the fact that he hasn't is good news for AU IMO.

I don't think he ever really had a committable offer from Bama. In fact I believe that's what he's waiting around on

There is no way if I was a big time recruit with countless offers that I would sit around and beg for an offer from anyone, even Auburn. Then if they offered me at the last minute, I surely wouldn't act like it didn't happen and that I wasn't a last resort because everyone else turned them down and jump on the offer.

You're also not a 17 or 18 year old kid. A number of them would.

Alabama is spitting out RBs into the NFL right now. They're going early and getting nice contracts. With 5-8 on a roster at any given time and two-three seeing significant playing time, it's worth waiting on the offer IMO.

tbh, I'd rather them wait on commiting than having a guy pull a yeldon and flip. Gives our staff a better idea of where they stand on a kid.

On official visits, Auburn pays for all the accommadtions (food, housing, travel) of the family/guests as well as the prospect right?

Update from player's practice ya'll may find intersting:

We should be seeing a lot of freshman on the field early.

Carl Lawson is the most ready of the players and people are expecting him to start or significant time early. He was described as bigger than Nosa Eguae and oneo f the quickest off the line

Elijah Daniel and Montravious Adams both have gotten a lot of praise from people and are expected to contribute early. (I was surprised about Adams as it is hard as FR to start at DT)

Nick Marshall is clearly the most talented QB is standing out amongst the drills. Jeremy Johnson is showing out as well but is not at Marshall's level. Just like everyone says, he is a freak athlete.

For RB, this depth chart issue is stupid to argue against Bama. They have shown that they will let FR play if they are talented enough (Yeldon), they consistently have 3 players get 200-150-50 carry splits and their oline is dominant.

All these high school kids are rushing for 2000+ yards and 25-30 TDs a year, do you believe for a second that they don't think they are the best RB since Bo Jackson? They all think they are giong to come in and be Yeldon 2.0 for Bama. Arguing depth chart with these RBs is like telling them that they aren't as good as they think

I hope Marshall can get the play book down and be a leader.

Not necessarily. It remains to be seen if Bama would let him commit. Bama is taking 2 or 3 more OL and are in good shape with about 5 or 6 guys. Auburn should get 1 of Casher or Jordan Sims out of it if not both. They are essentially in a pool with a couple others for Bama's last Guard spot.
