Alabama is spitting out RBs into the NFL right now. They're going early and getting nice contracts. With 5-8 on a roster at any given time and two-three seeing significant playing time, it's worth waiting on the offer IMO.

HOWEVER, they're not 5'11, 195 lbs. with a max of probably being 210 lbs.

He isn't a fit for them...we know it...he doesn't

Why? Whats he doing now?
Because we have posted so much I am not going to sift through to find it here so I say go read the last few pages of the Casher thread on AUF to get caught up.

Respectfully disagree. While Roc is a better fit for our offense he is a homerun threat on every play that would be a good fit in any offense. Also he runs very strong for 195 lbs.

Roc is one of the more exciting RBs I've seen in a while. I love his style of running the ball.

I think he can fit in an Alabama offense that is about to lose a few nice weapons.

I think he fits fine with them. They've had backs ranging from 5'9 215 (Ingram) to 6'3 240 (Henry). He fits better in Malzahn's offense, but I don't think he'd have a problem in Bama's

What weapons are they about to lose? Yeldon is a Soph this year. Plus the what, 6 RB's they signed last year?

I don't see them losing any RB weapons anytime soon.

5'11 210 lbs that can flat out run and has the ability to run up the middle will fit in just fine in Alabama's offense.

Pair him with a Derrick Henry and you have thunder and lightening

Casher, please reaffirm your commit and tell sabear to "suck it", I don't want to dislike an AU player. If you don't like AU de-commit, go to Miami or UCLA. The weather is great, you will actually get to play and I don't have to hope you fall down the stairs. Win-Win!

certainly seems to be some grumbling that things are looking miiiiiiighty good for Ronnie Clark. BMatthews and Austin Penny both predict him to AU now and AP said to just be patient and he doesn't want to "give anything up". Would LOVE if we locked this kid up.

Landing Clark would be huge. This class has top 10 potential if a few battles go out way.

I figure it will be top 10 either way....I dont know exactly where we finished in the rankings this past class, but I know it was pretty close to top 10 (and that was after the season that was 2012)...I think with even a mediocre season we will crack the top 10 or better

I was speaking to their entire offensive unit, not just the running backs.

That's a bit much.. We still could lose Tre, Daqhille, and Casher. With that said, we could also pull Roc, Evaans, and Clark. Too many variables to say with confidence we'll have a top 10 class, but I do think 15-20 is very realistic

agree with this... a big variable is how this season turns out. Show some improvement and be competitive in our losses... and we could sneak inside the top 10.

It will all depend on what site and how the site views JUCO. Moncreif, Williams, Lawrence and potentially Lambert and Blair all will be top 10 JUCO and 4 star players.

If a website doesn't do JUCO players, doesn't factor them in or doesn't rate JUCO players highly (Rivals), it will make a huge difference.

I don't know if anyone else notices it, but Ronnie Clark reminds me a lot of Kris Frost and Shaun Kitchens coming out of high-school. Superb athletes, that may be over/under-sized for a couple of different position. Shaun Kitchens played linebacker and receiver in high-school at around 6-3 210, Kris Frost played linebacker and receiver at around 6-2 210, and Ronnie Clark is playing receiver, running back, linebacker, and safety at around 6-3 210. I think he'd fit perfectly in the STAR position. He was pretty much tailor-made for it.

Yea there are alot of variables, but AU is sitting at #11 on 247 right now, with alot of SEC teams sitting in the top 10 with currently more commits than AU has right now (a few already have at least 20, like Tenn and Ole Miss). LSU is obviously going to close strong, and possibly Clemson, but barring another season like last year (I know, that's the largest variable of them all) I dont see many of those other teams trailing AU jumping them. Not claiming a recruiting 'ship', but the odds of top ten look pretty good...
