That was what I getting at and wondering about. With Foster, we had a slim chance worth exploring but with him not here we have no chance anymore.

I don't even think it is legal to revruit kids to AU. That Sandusky guy went to prison for that Very thing. Just saying...

He's insane. He would perfect for Malzahn's O too. And to think he went to my school for a couple years and then Oxford University had to snag him from us...

I enjoyed watching how fluid his running style is and that he has that natural grace while finding the crease. It is something you see of guys that are able to put on significantly amount of muscle without losing that much marginal speed due to the natural running ability.

Definetly and he's deciptively powerful too. He's gonna be a helluva back wherever he goes. I'm optimistic that we can pull off the coup and finally take a recruit from Oxford. We've got a better chance than ppl think too. This is the most interested a big time Oxford prospect has been on Auburn in a while.

Sorry if this info is already posted but I have not read this thread... Kill me later

As of now, will we be taking a very small class next year? That is if things go as planned?

Could that be the reason for us having a slow start. Meaning no early commits.

TIA

We're just behind and playing catch-up. There is a video that was posted on the 21st of Ellis Johnson talking about how far behind on 2014 recruiting the staff is / was.

Just watched Roc Thomas's highlights. Huge mistake. He's an absolutely ideal fit for Malzahn's offense. His acceleration, cutting ability, top end speed, vision, and balance are all elite. There wasn't a back we recruited last year with his skill set. He catches screens and follows his blockers like an older running back. Not to mention how much fun it is to watch those guys that always run full speed.

Damnit now I want him. Why is he at Oxford again?

Sounds like we want him pretty bad too.

There's a pretty positive article on 24/7 with some quotes from him. It's obviously way early, but he says he's enjoying his visits to Auburn, he no longer has any leaders but we're in a good spot and then says "they're like my top school." I don't think that means we're his clear #1, but it seems like a positive trend for us. Thinks he can play as a freshman and they run the same type offense at Oxford.

If we have a solid year with good run production I think we can pull him. The fact he is showing interest in AU shows he understands the logjam at RB at Bama.

After the whole Yeldon/Liner thing I can't believe anything that the big time in state guys say. I'm not one of those that says we give up on the state (quite the opposite actually), but it's happened enough over the past three years to remain skeptical.
