He lives close to LSU

This is kind of relative. It's still a not-so-fun four hour drive from Bossier to Baton Rouge. It's certainly much closer than Auburn, but its not like he's right next door to LSU campus.

And what few players Shreveport/Bossier have produced traditionally have gone all over: Wade to Tennesee, Berlin to Florida, Battle to Notre Dame, Pittman to Texas, Booty to USCw, Hester to LSU.

I'm personally trying not to get my hopes up about AU having a potential starting QB someday from my hometown.

@GabeThaGreat: I hope I received bad info guys. This came from someone very close to him though.

@GabeThaGreat: Was also told that his destination may be K-State if Auburn isn’t an option.

The last two pages have made me hate this thread

@GabeThaGreat: Nick is still waiting on his transcript to clear. There is a chance it could clear. I dont think you’ll know anything %100 until next week

Honestly, that makes me more confident, considering that's what Hoke said this morning. And Hoke said he expects him to make it in. The class is controversial, but legal, and the NCAA wants to confirm it personally

Take this rumor as far as fake Nick

"Jason Caldwell at Scout and Justin Hokanson of Rivals also confirming everything ok with Nick Marshall."

If Frazier is starter, I won't walk to the stadium the entire season. I'll prop my arse up at the house and enjoy having my cooler with me as I watch the arse rapings.

If Caldwell and Hokanson are saying he's good, then we're probably ok. I'll still feel better when he's on campus and in class.

Fairly confident JJ would beat out Wallace and Frazier for the starting job. No way you could afford to redshirt him if NM didn't make it in. Lets just hope it doesn't come down to that

I doubt he would start the first couple of games. but it sounds like Marshall will be ready anyway.

So it's ok to feel good about Marshall again?

I usually find it's better to not expend any energy on random twitter accounts until you know for sure that info is legit.

Dude, you have a lot of blind faith in something that history has proven is not a good idea. Jonathan Wallace had the record QB rating for a true freshman QB at Auburn. (don't know the SEC stats)

Let that sink in for a moment, no other QB in Auburn history has had a better QB rating as a true freshman.

So you think JJ will magically come in and save us when history tells you it isn't oging to happen?

I get off for a few hours and our class is falling apart. So when will we really know something on Nick Marshall?
