Does that mean we made progress with the McMillan kid or we don't need him?

More to do with Rashaan Evans I would imagine. McMillan had a good time but there are a bunch of people pulling him in different directions. I'd be surprised if he ended up at Auburn

He still has a visit to LSU scheduled for the middle of December. Will be curious to see what ends up happening even if he makes a "decision" Monday.
Not Necessarily. He could shut things down tomorrow and not take the LSU visit.

Any word on the QB, that the staff might take, that was coming to the game?
It was 4* QB Treon Harris committed to FSU. No word if he actually made the game.

some recruits typically arrive late, right?
Not usually but it can happen.

According to Hoke, SDH was, after the UGA game, privately talking about switching to AU at the last minute. But he's been waffling back and forth with it, and Gus told him they're tired of the games and are done recruiting him Also, Rashaan Evans is closer to committing to Auburn than he's ever been and his planned officials, which he wanted to take before deciding, are in jeopardy

ETA: What he said^^

I will help you out...

Rashaan Evans is closer to committing to Auburn than he's ever been.

His planned officials, which he wanted to take before deciding (on his commitment), are in jeopardy.

Almost sound like a shite or get off the pot scenario to me!

Or he may be thinking of canceling the other OV's....

Same here.

Four crystal balls of D. Russell to Auburn.

Excellent, that would fill our only real hole in this class. If we could close with Evans, Russell, and maybe steal Bessent that would be a hell of a class.

Sorry, but I don't. Is the kid playing games, or is he just struggling with a decision? I understand a lot of kids play games with recruiting, but we lost a ton of recruiting momentum last year simply because a lot of these kids wanted to see what kind of year we'd have. Now that we've shown we're winning big now, you would think kids thinking about switching their commitments to us is a good thing.

I don't like Gus turning away recruits, especially when they're at a position of desperate need. We need every top-end LB we can get. Maybe there's more to it, but telling a kid no just because he won't commit right now isn't good.

You don't know what the situation is. I trust the coaches 100%. If the kid is simply undecided I highly doubt the coaches are going to tell them to take a hike.

After our many debates with you on this I realize that nothing credible shown to you will change your opinion on this issue. With that said, most of the kids last and this year the staff cut ties with were playing games like it or not.

Are you naive in thinking Gus is just flippantly telling recruits they will no longer be recruited by Auburn?

Come on man really? You have no clue the reason why nor do I, but I bet Gus is making the right decision for the program. We have a lot of recruiting momentum right now and Gus and staff are savvy enough to maximize it.

Don't bother. He/she has a negative spin to every issue. It's played out.

We already have LBs committed and Rashaan Evans can play LB as well. Not to mention there are other LBs we are talking to. We don't want to deal with a kid who could flip from Auburn back to Alabama.

Also, I'm surprised that we even recruited Shaun after the exchanges made immediately after his Bama commit
