how realistic of an option is Smith?
We won't have any idea til he OVs.

Justin Hoke said that although RaShaan Evans is visiting Alabama on January 17th, he moved his original visit from Georgia up to January 24th (was the 31st), and that still leaves room for a last minute visit to Auburn.
Not what he said in the War Room today. He said Evans will visit Auburn the 24th instead of UGA.

I just happen to like the way it's playing out with Smith. He will visit and likes the offense already, so if I'm rollin' too fast for you feel free to ignore...

IMO, Evans is going to visit us the final weekend. No matter what his plans are, I'm of the opinion that he'll give us the last crack at him.....not that we'll need it.

Agreed. And that same info has been posted elsewhere by a couple who are fairly well connected.

That is what the guy at Auburn Emoticon used it do.

Braden Smith will visit Auburn on January 17th, instead of Notre Dame.

I think we really need this kid. Getting him will help ease the trouble of having to get a lot of linemen next year.

Yep.

From KN on twitter about Smith:

@Niebuhr247: “@lawag97: who would you say is the favorite to land him. A&M TCU or AU?” /// as of today, maybe TCU .. But AU push is interesting

Your disdain for AE is well documented but don't kid yourself. Scott Reaves knew his stuff, especially the first 2 years of his site.

I know a guy who discounts everything a certain person says because they were wrong about Yeldon. Everybody was except for a few bammers.

The reason Niebuhr has started putting the teasers into his updates is due to the posters at AUC. They will continue to ask him after each update until he posts "with Craig you never know".

Per Niebuhr, composite 5 star DL Albert Huggins showing interest.

LINK

It's a VIP article, but says his coach is friends with Garner and told him he needs to check us out. Said he was impressed by the season and how the DL played against FSU. He said if coaches visit him, he'll visit us.

2015 is very heavy with the top DT talent. In fact, this young man would make three 5* DT's with us in their top 2-3. And 4* Juantavius Johnson and that could be quite the haul!

Trent Thompson is all Dawg. Daron Payne is a possibility but if Orgeron goes to Bama hes gone get paid well. I think we get JJ though.

Long way to go. Huge UGA lean but he loved Auburn and is a huge mama's boy. He is going to play out almost identically to Montravious Adams in terms of storyline so we got a shot if small

I wish I had my old phone. I had some texts relatived to Jauntavius Johnson from his visit. Nothing monumental though so it is no big deal
