Malik Miller. If Buie grows at a normal rate he'll probably show up at AU 5'9ish 180ish which IMO would project him as a slot receiver, possibly scat back if he adds a good bit of speed which is hard to do.

Maybe, but you cant tell me "Tre was faster". Who here saw Tre as a sophomore or freshman? No one, so how exactly are you comparing their speed?

Dude, I'm not discounting this kids talent. Read everything else I've posted.

Also, I did see him as a junior, but hey, you know better than I.

This kid isn't a Junior.

You cant compare a Freshman/Sophomore to a Junior/Senior.

I just find it quite odd that you can conclude that Mason was "faster at the same age". Did Mason even have a Rivals recruiting profile his Sophomore year? He didn't become a known commodity until his Senior year (hence why he was a late pop-up on our radar).

Well, just to make you happy, I will amend my statement.

Tre was definitely faster as a junior than Jalin is as a Soph.

Sooooo

You can compare a Freshman to a Sophomore

And you can compare a Junior to a Senior

But comparing a Sophomore to a Junior is 100% off limits?

Okay.

I do think Malik Miller is the better of the two at MA right now as far as pure RB goes. Kid will be a very high 4* to 5* type RB.

Nah, we good. Barber doesn't even have to run with the ball....he can just float to the end zone.

Not counting Jason Smith, we now have more commits for the class of 2016 than we do 2015

I think it was ellitor, but someone stated that making it to the national championship has more impact on HS sophomores than juniors? I think there was some research done on this the last time Auburn won the NC.

It has the most impact on the guys who are not yet deeply invested into recruiting with many schools so yes it's make sense for it to impact sophomores more than juniors

Yeah, because this is the time that most coaching staffs start forming relationships with the sophomores, so their initial reaction is AU playing for the Title. As they say, first impressions are everything.

The data actually correlates to a Natty having greater impact with Freshmen than even sophs. 2014 class was supposed to be our boom year quality of recruit wise but the 2012 season fricked that all up.

Very good write up on Sean White by Loogs. LINK
quote:

All I can say at this point is that he will see a significant increase in rank not only from a positional standpoint but overall as well. He had a great week. Will he be No. 1 at the position? I don’t know that yet. More importantly I am as impressed with his journey as I am with his performance during the week. There is something to be said for a guy who was on no one’s radar last March. We had him graded at a 79 initially which we felt was very strong considering nobody had offered him at that point last spring. He continually did everything he could during the summer to prove his worth including winning the Elite 11. When he was added to the Under Armour roster it became apparent immediately upon his arrival that he belonged. He has so many intangible traits coupled with very good physical ability so there is a high probability for success at the next level. We are excited for his prospects.
