I have not seen evidence of any school pushing for him at this time due to his leg injury.

Would we pull his offer or get stuck with him if no other team takes him?

It doesn't look like this class will be coming together at the critical positions we need -- RBs, DLs, LBs, Safety....

Wasn't he talking about de-commiting?

You have got to make a trip to Jordan or Mitchell in the cold. Dec - Jan are awesome months for both lakes. Get in the current and throw 1oz spinnerbaits and hold on!

I don't really get Liner. Its down to us and bama and he decommits but doesn't commit to bama. It seems if he was flipping then he would have went ahead and committed to bama when he decommitted to start helping them recruit. Especially since everyone has been saying he was for weeks. Its not like he is going to surprise anyone by waiting until NSD unless he signs with Auburn. He isn't helping bama by waiting to commit.

You'd be surprised...many causual fans were "shocked" and so if he's pandering to a fanbase of casual fans then many more will be "shocked" when he signs with bama on NSD

I'm fine with RB for now. We need a power back but it wasn't a huge need. We really need to keep Lawson to have a playmaker on the DL but we definitely came up short in this area. If we get Foster, I'm happy with LBs since we'll only have two on the field. We need another safety bad though.

We're gonna have to recruit JUCO guys on D for the next few years to hide our deficiencies on that side of the ball.

He is helping Bama. He is visiting there again this weekend to help them recruit.

I have no problems trying to sign at least 1 each of DL, LB and DB that are able to start every single year while Gus is here.

He's probably headed back to make sure Saban and Emmert finalize the paperwork on his Yukon and family's new house.

Pretty simple and I have felt this way even when he was "committed to us". He is an attention whore. He decommits and it makes news. Then he gets to have his little moment on NSD as well. There are plenty of people that don't follow recruiting year round, but just pay attention on NSD, so he will get his attention.

I need to book a trip of there and see what's up. If you had to pick the best time to be on Lanier, when would it be? Buddy in my bass club is from Georgia. He said the largemouth fishing is good there too.

It's kids that aren't legally able to buy a pack of smokes, and in most cases vote.. To think it affects you or anyone this way disturbs the frick out of me. I can't fathom putting so much weight on a goddamned game.

It's funny how much more passionate people are about things that don't really matter than they are about the blatantly important things. But I guess that's the nature of the world these days. Put all of your passions in a low consequence venture, and you'll stay relatively comfortable.

Sorry you took the brunt of my aggressions. This whole fandom thing has just been pissing me off as of late, coupled with the septic tank transpiring out my front door.

ETA: I clicked about 3-4 pages back, so everything looks to be kosher now. Just let me vent, TIA.
