One thing about brown is he seems to get rid of the ball quickly.

This… he finds his target and throws it. Thorne needs 10 seconds to make a read and he will likely still misfire.

Why does every other team in college football have short intermediate pass routes except auburn?

we do. Thorne just wants the deep ball every play. Last week was not good for him. Thorne is like the guy who hits a homer. He comes up with the fence in his eyes every at bat.

I don’t. In fact, I know we were outbid for Leonard and Ward.

But hell, they could’ve gotten that Pavia kid for cheap. And I bet he would’ve beaten the shite out of Cal today.

This. Auburn, AL is the only place in the country where slants, out routes, and crossing routes don't exist until some other team walks into our stadium like they've discovered fire and are showing it to the neanderthals (us). It's been like this for the last 3 coaches at least and it is infuriating to watch.

I think harsin actually tried to run a normal offense but had no players to run it because he wouldn't recruit and ran off what was here

They were called. They were open. The QB wasn’t throwing it…

The 4th and 2 call Lambert was wide open on a cross. Guaranteed 20 yards there. I feel like we are trying to force it to Coleman for whatever reason.

This will be the 5th straight season without more than 6 wins. I am not sure AU has been this consistently bad in program history.

I’m intrigued, so I looked it up.

1944-1952 we had an 9 yr losing season.

On the contrary… Bama hasn’thad a losing season since 2006; and last 3 game skid year was 2010.

This is why it is so hard to swallow the pill. It wouldn’t hurt as much if it was Tenn/UF or even A&M dominating; but our luck Bama struck gold.

I was high on Thorne based on his adj. comp. % last year… but he showed the game is too fast. He might look great at practice, that can’t transform on Saturdays.

I had zero expectations for this season when PT was named the starter again. I can’t see how anyone expected more than 5 to 7 wins this season when that happened. I didn’t even yell once during the whole game. It definitely kept me calm.

That 4th and 2 call - and execution - made me mad and worried.

I quit watching when Cal hit 21. And it's been years since I did that.... even through Harsin.

D adjusted at the half (still late) but the O still looked bad and gave me flashbacks to the worst of Gus and of last year....

Oh well....

We still don’t have a QB that can handle pressure or an O line that can protect him.

I know it sucks. We have to give CHF time.

Yeah I’m pretty sure all reports were that we were after them but they essentially became out of our budget. Ward definitely was.

I completely understand if Freeze decided the roster was complete crap and needed more than a QB so he decided to wait this year, but he’s gonna have to drop a bag next year. The roster still isn’t great, but if we hold the current class together and don’t have some mass exodus would are in a very solid place to utilize and attract a very good QB.

AU put its neck out to hire Hugh and he continues to have embarrassing losses stack up. Dude needs to go back to swinging with the Falwells at Liberty.

It’s year two and DID YOU SEE WHAT HE INHERITED FROM THAT POTATO HEADED MOTHERfrickER.

Rebuilds take longer than teardowns. Fact of life.

Liberty has a better record without him.
