just got some tickets for NLDS home games 2 and 3 and NLCS home games 1, 3, and 4. If the Dodgers somehow lose in the NLDS, then I'll be at games 6 and 7 baby.

If I'm reading the schedule properly, it doesn't look like we're going to get any weekend games at Suntrust. I was ready to buy some but there's no way I can make it over from Birmingham for a weekday game. Pretty damn bummed about that.

well it depends. if we play LA in the NLCS then yeah, we would end up with no home games on Saturday or Sunday.

Jesus Christ the MSB changes quickly. Daily threads on the Braves now that we’re good. Falcons football season comes around and they hate everything Atlanta. Braves win the NL East!

MLB Network just noted that Acuna, Albies, Freeman, and Donaldson have only missed a combined 7 games this year.

4.5 games behind the LAD.

At the moment it’s:

LAD
ATL
STL

Cardinals up 3 on MIL. The Gnats and Brewers neck and neck for the Wild Card.

The NLDS starts October 3rd, which is a Thursday. So, the initial home games are Thursday/Friday.

Not just to mention that, but since LA will be the other NLDS, they're likely to be early evening games based off what Milwaukee's schedule was last year. That is going to really suck. There will be plenty that can get of work early but that might subdue the crowd just a little.

I could probably see our games starting around 4:30 for those first two days. That would put the Dodger games right in primetime.

Tbs games were 2pm and 5pm last year for the early games. We got tickets games 1 and 2. Didn’t do game 5...will buy if we go 5 and then games 1, 2 and 3 in nlcs. If dodgers lose and we have home field and make game 7 I will buy that as well.

Already took off for Thursday and Friday for DS. CS will be night games if we make it so don’t have to worry about it then.

was watching some network tv garbage late last night that led into the local news, and there was a story (that I didn't watch) about how women are getting sexually harrassed outside of SunTrust Park lol. A couple of interview clips that they showed in the story preview had a woman say she was unlikely to go down there by herself. Supposedly this is mainly in the Uber/Lyft pick up zones after games.

How many women are actually going to a baseball game by themselves?

I saw the preview they ran for this, too. They claimed that they sent a reporter down there to investigate and that she got groped while standing there. I'm not doubting them, mainly because I didn't watch the full report, but that seems like such a random area for men to decide to grope/harass.

I'd figure the inside of PBR would be grope-central around STP.

Weird... The Uber/Lyft zone is a complete shitshow and probably one of my biggest pet peeves of how the braves implemented things at STP, but other than people constantly bumping into each other, I've never once noticed anything of the sort.

Also, valid question... I don't know a lot of females who attend Braves games solo. Hell... I don't know a lot of people who go to baseball games solo anymore these days. It tends to be an activity for at least 2 if you're not in from out of town solo...

you might have actually answered the question here.

the way people overreact to shite these days, it wouldn't surprise me at all if a woman misinterpreted an innocent bump or accidental touching as "groping" and "harrassment".

So are we basically doomed to day NLDS games? I work til 6 every day and can’t really afford to take time off this month

Edit I see this was discussed just above

no clue, I guess we'll see.

Luckily, I think that the Braves and Cardinals are both national brands and would be very appealing for a night game, but I think we'll definitely be that late afternoon/early evening game for the games in Atlanta since LA is west coast.

Here were the NLDS timeslots last year:

Thursday:

Col @ Milw - 5:07 PM
Atl @ LA - 8:37 PM

Friday:

Col @ Milw - 4:15 PM
Atl @ LA - 9:37 PM

Sunday:

Milw @ Col - 4:37 PM
LA @ Atl - 8:07 PM

Monday:

LA @ Atl - 4:30 PM

While this makes it look like we are doomed, I think the Braves/Cards series is much more entertaining and appealing to TV than Milw/Colorado was.
