Ticketmaster kept giving me error codes, but finally broke through. Got all games for NLDS and NLCS.

The fact there are day playoff games (on a weekday) is one of the many reasons I cannot fricking stand the people that run Major League Baseball.

Weekday playoff games have been around since MLB started and obviously TV dictates almost everything.They pay ALOT of money for those playoff games.

I know it's tradition, but there are a lot of traditions that are flat out stupid. This was instituted in a time where baseball was by far and away America's #1 sport, and people used to get off for games. This was also a tradition where there were 3 networks, and people didn't have remote controls.
The NBA playoffs have much higher TV ratings (for first round games, not WS), have more playoff games, and seemingly have no issue airing both at the same time. It allows people to go to work, and go to the game.
I'm a Braves fan, but nothing irks me more than having to take time away from the office to watch the best version of the sport after suffering through a 162 game schedule.

it's still hard to believe that we lost the season series to these guys. Going into today, we outscored them 114-93 in 18 games, and that's obviously including the opening series where they pushed our shite in.

They were just such an annoying team. They're obviously decent, but with that run differential they have no business beating us in the season series. I'll just chalk that up to those random flukes you get every year, where bad teams just seem to have your number all season.

I know Snit is old school and cares not about numbers but about winning. But I have a feeling he is going to give Ronald free reign running the bases to get to 40|40. You know Ronald wants it. You know the team wants it. And more than anything else Snit is a team guy.
