18/33 for 274 and 3 TDs, and a rushing TD as well. Completion percentage was meh, but hard to argue with 48 points on the board.

I would settle for a small improvement from that, Yessir!

Thanks Feral..

A lot of upperclassmen. The most this team has had in a few years.

That should put block on the “next year” talk from Hog fans. This year is shaping up to be the best we will have for another 2-3 years

It was hard for pool to make all those tackles when his hands were on his knees.

Transfer portal being what it is now should destroy any "next year" talk from now on. Will be much easier to plug the holes left by draft/graduation. Will be a huge part of roster building going forward.

Well the OU coach has adopted the sign 10-12 of the very best HS players in the nation and then recruit guys off other teams rosters / portal for the remaining to fill out 25.

So many will be doing this because they have data / know if someone can play at the D1 level and the experience/maturity vs the unknown HS player needing to develop or as we've seen in the Morris classes so many didn't perform to star ranking.

Well, not if we only leave 3 spots for them. Maybe if we do like OU did and only sign 15 high school kids in a class and leave room for 10 transfers.

On a side note, Woods is starting for OU this weekend. Yay us.

He’ll probably win the Biletnikoff, which would be the most Arkansas thing ever.

Woods

I don't blame him at all. Much better QB and he will probably make at least a million more on draft night than if he stayed with us.

Go Arkansas and all but I would tell you all to SMD and bounce with a quickness for a mil. You are either a liar or stupid if you wouldn't.

I have no problem with Mike Woods leaving.
I have a problem with the way he/OU did it.
It seems like they were talking to him before the portal.

We need more speed at WR. I bet they talked to Burks but wasn't interested. So woods who has average or below average speed gets a call from Oklahoma saying that he would be drafted higher. But he is looking at best 6-7 rounds/free agency. So no change here.

Oklahoma must be thin at WR when they got Woods. This is good as it will allow younger and more athletic WRs to come on board.

My big complaint is knowing they had people behind the scenes contacting our people.

This needs to be punished our full open and let everyone recruit players on teams and have Saban have 1-30 first round picks after he picks everyone’s best players.

Oklahoma has been doing that since the 60s. They got put on probation in the 90s and went under a rock for a time. Then when the probation was over, it was business as usual.

Until Arkansas fights back and will make sure players don't leave for other schools then it will continue to be a problem.

If you’re good enough the NFL knows about you no matter where you play or who your QB is

I agree. It was a big loss for us but he wasn't a top 5 SEC receiver. Burks on the other hand has a good chance at being a first rounder.

I think overall we benefitted from the portal. Three top rotation d linemen (where we were hurting) for one good receiver.

We have other WRs and slots that are quite able to step up. I'm pretty happy with Burks and Warren. Knox should be stepping up...and White is going to surprise. Throw in a guy like Crawford or Morris deciding to step up and we won't miss Woods much at all.

Meanwhile...dline has gone from a weakness to SEC caliber just due to the portal. Its not like we don't have folks that knew the guys that transferred to us as well.

I'll take it.
