Who else hates the brick monstrosity in right field?

I’m not a fan of a lot of the ugly building they’re putting up on campus lately.

I just keep hoping they're waiting to finish exterior until seasons over.

Yeah, they need to do something with it. Put a hog logo on the brick or put something on top of it.
It just looks like an ugly brick bunker right now.

If you don't know what it looks like by now, I'm not sure why you're even on this board.
Also, a single pic isn't enough to understand. You have to watch a game on tv. It's like our whole stadium is this awesome organic atmosphere, then in right field we have this structure that was made by Russians for the purpose of storing nuclear weapons.

I don’t understand what you want them to do, maybe put more green padding on the chain link, but can you obstruct the view from the bull pen?

What is wrong with it?
Brick matches brick around rest of stadium and also matches the brick around scoreboard. Besides, the thing is still being constructed. Will look pretty good when finished and fans are allowed to view from the viewing decks in right field.
Baum does need some TLC though. Chairbacks are starting to be a very faded green color. This weekend alone, the scoreboard stopped working properly Friday. Then came back on and half of it worked for a few innings, then the entire thing started working again. On Saturday, all electricity went out. Scoreboard issues again. Kind of went off and on the entire game. Outfield green padding needs replaced. Back stop green padding needs replaced.
Hopefully they clean some of that up this off season.

Same, looks cheap and tacked on. It hasn’t been integrated with the rest of the stadium very well. Looks like someone stuck a warehouse in right field.

I don't really have a strong opinion about it, but it does look kind of soulless and bland out there. I do really like the idea of sticking a Hog either on or above it though.
Something to make it look more like part of a sports facility instead of looking like our accounting department works out in right field.

I don’t hate it, but it wouldn’t be something I’d put on transformative architecture. Need something, but I honestly could tell you what.

When completed, they will probably incorporate more green/tan into the coloring scheme like the rest of Baum.
Again, the thing is still under construction and is not a finished product.

Good to hear, I assumed it had to be but wasn't sure if the rest of the project was going to focus on inside the facilities or if there were still visual updates left for the outer part of the facility.

No way are they done with outside. There is still black weld residue on handrails and other metal on outside. It is probably only 50% done at this point.

I’d like to have seen them do a wall of glass across the top section instead of the individual windows. Not really a fan of that look.

It's pretty much finished.
The problem is that architects are almost universally talentless assholes, including the dean of our architecture school.
They spend a shite ton of money, building bland boxes and writing flowery narratives about why you should think they are good looking buildings.
Here's what the original design was supposed to be, believe it or not. The one we actually got was revised to be less shitty.
