I know Briles has too much baggage. Still gonna pump him. Maybe if it gets in the zeitgeist enough our PTB might grow a pair, and decide they hate losing for once.

What good seasons? They happened, but they didn’t, much like Ohio State’s win over us in the Sugar.

Sure does help though, doesn’t it?

This is college football, not the fricking church choir

You sound like you think we’d get away with it, if we decided to go hard at it. We won’t, and you know we won’t. All those good times will be stripped, and future teams will pay the price for years as well. It’s not worth it to me, but hey, I’ve only been a Hog fan for 50 years. It would be much easier to pick another team.

I just dont see the administration bringing someone like that in. I also don't see the next hire having a long leash. Whoever HY decides is next he will be up their arse. He fired Mike and made a pretty decent hire, and he also found our Gymnastics coach. He can and will find someone when he decides, he isn't JL.

Except they did happen. The fans got to experience some good seasons. Retroactively taking wins away doesn't magically make those games disappear.

No, I don't know that and neither do you. I do know that I'm tired of floundering around in the cellar while we get annihilated week in and week out. If cheating will help stop that then I'm all for it, and if we get caught then frick it, at least we tried to elevate this program.

I’d be fine with Briles, because I think he’s relatively clean. Freeze? No. Sorry. Dude was invoking God while he was doing his thing. Not going to pull for the Hogs, or enjoy their success with someone like that.

Well, why do you work for a living then? Banks are full of cash, and just a little cheating and it’s yours.

I know you can come up with a better analogy than that. I’ll give you a do-over.

Bub if you don't think we need to do a little bit of cheating to get to some 10 win season back to back, and the down year not be a 5 win year. I am afraid I have some bad news....

We need to cheat a little bit. I want Briles. The cheating aspect has to come from our boosters though. Not directly from the admin....

We could be A&M 3-3 right now with a national championship coach paying 75 mil to be down 7-3 to OM.

We are at the bottom, but good lord.

It’s the same philosophy. How about, do you embezzle money from your job? Why not? If you get caught, you were just trying to elevate your lifestyle.

We just need a good coach. We need good people on the Board to hire a good coach, who does things mostly the right way. I’m under no illusion that we are going to be able to compete with the big dogs in the SEC year in and year out. Mostly because we don’t cheat to get the professional players, because the NCAA doesn’t look the other way for Arkansas.

But that doesn’t prevent us from playing intelligently, with guts, and spirit, and fortitude. Decent folks can be proud of that, win or lose.

The faggies have one of the best recruiting classes in the country, and they will have a lot of this year's team coming back.

I don't care how much money we pay whoever. Did anybody give a shite how much we paid Petrino, or Lou Holtz for that matter?

So yeah, in fact I would take that scenario over this shite show.
Arkansas football is a shite show because the fan-base has allowed it.

Because of this piece of shite -

Only to be out-done by this piece of shite -

A little bit of cheating isn’t what Freeze was doing. I have to assume we are, like most other schools not protected by the NCAA, already doing a little bit of cheating. But when you start doing it on a scale that has you competing for recruiting titles with Bama, Auburn, LSU, Florida, etc., you’re going to get hammered by the NCAA. I point to Ole Miss and Freeze as proof. I doubt Freeze was doing much that isn’t going on at the other schools, but not everyone gets to do that.

We need our coach to do a little bit of cheating, but then be able to do something with the players he is able to get.

By the way, Ole Miss came out for the better even with the penalties/sanctions. The NCAA is weak.

You think the NCAA would give us the same treatment OM got if we were dumb enough to hire Freeze and he got caught a SECOND time?

They would hammer us for being idiots and him for being a repeat offender. No way.

Have to think that HY not hiring Chad makes him more likely to cut bait. Don't want to be dragged down by a guy you had no part in hiring.

HY had input on the Morris hiring don't be fooled. They just announced his hiring after the fact to give him some insulation in case it turned bad which it has. He was a major player in getting Morris on the hill. It the good ole boy network back in charge of our AD and unfortunately they don't know as much about football as they like to think they do. See the Dallas Cowboys as a perfect example

No he wouldn’t He shares a ton of responsibility for this shite. Off the top of my head he inherited an NFL RB, QB, TE, WR, OL, 2 DE and an interior DL and didn’t do a damn thing with it.

Bert made a bowl in year two and won it. You see that happening any time soon with Chad? None of Bert’s teams were ever this bad, not even close.
