I must have missed that. I’ve seen Bama get in these games before and wake up and turn it on in the 4th to pull away.
It happens sometimes. Moreso now thanks to the portal. I mean did you really think Bobby P was going to come to Fayetteville and get beat by 30? He wanted this game bad and we did all we could to give it to him.

I do somewhat agree with this. Portal has increased parity, but that still shouldn't happen.

I think Mo State is a little better than you're giving them credit for. They had lot of FBS talent on that roster.
Now the game should still not have been that close, but that's what happens when you have killer turnovers and create an opening for a mastermind head coach.
I don't think it's really that alarming of a game. If anything it shows the team is made of something to not crumble in that situation.

Watched them when Georgia St or Georgia Southern was still an FCS team. Trailer until right towards the end. Guess what, Bama still went undefeated that year.

Exactly… like I told a buddy of mine a few minutes age….. under our last 3 coaches we would have probably lost that game. But we didn’t ….

Yeah a lot of people struggle to keep up with the changes of the game but the reason all these small schools and FCS schools are battling is because of the portal. It's helped them more than top teams. Just like MOST's RB at KState last year.
A&M lost to App State, UF had a miracle to not go to OT with South Florida.
The days of easily blowing out those teams every time are largely over if you're playing a pretty good team. You get a couple of portal guys from big schools and you can compete with anyone not Bama UGA etc.

I pay pretty close attention to FCS football due to my current location.
Montana and Eastern Washington are both top notch FCS programs.
I know MSU is a very good FCS team.
Doesn’t excuse being down by 10 to them in the 4th.
