we can also kiss any hopes of being a top 5 seed goodbye
Its getting close to the time that we face the music with Mike. Are we a serious basketball program or not. Because a serious school isnt gonna aettle for just making the tourney in year 7. I say if he doesnt get to the sweet 16 by this year or the next we cut bait.

The trash that was played tonight doesn't deserve to be ranked. We didn't even look like a competent basketball team.

While I still wholeheartedly support Mike, I’m a little frustrated with not being able to take the next step, esp given everything that is coming back this year. It’d be good to be competitive on the road.

An absolutely hideous first half that we had no chance of coming back from, though we at least put up a respectable loss.
And, yes, we started off horribly last year as well. Still a disheartening loss from the team and we can probably kiss being ranked goodbye for a few weeks at best.

Probably. I don't see us getting more than 2 road wins and that's a stretch. But we are a dangerous tourney team. Going to have to do it as a 7-8 seed.

And now they'll come home and win both next week looking good again and go about 10-6 in conference play and get a 6-7 seed like just about everyone thought coming into the year.

Look, it's year 7 and we have a team with 6 seniors, and we look like a team that will be on the bubble. We were lucky to come back and beat Tennessee at BWA and we have proven we can't win SEC games on the road. We will be lucky to finish .500 in conference play. Mike Anderson's seat should be warming up. We deserve better than this and the last 20 years.
