Barford needs to elevate his game. He is a 30 point player. He needs to act like it.

But shouldn't we win those games agist 13-1 teams? Those games show me them that can win championships.

Not really no. Look around the nation at what higher ranked teams and "better" teams are doing on the road. Just how it is anymore.

Just how it is anymore? That's bullshite. We shouldn't be a team playing "just how it is anymore". We should be playing balls to the wall, leaving everything out there. I haven't seen that since conference play started.

Yes, get outside of Arkansas sports and take a look at college basketball this year. This is how it is. We just broke a record for most top 10 losses this early in the year.

Top teams are losing left and right, yet Arkansas fans rage when they lose road games to 13-1 teams like the sky is falling. It isn't the 1990's you aren't going 30-0 or 28-2.

North Carolina lost at home to fricking Mercer. Kansas lost at home to unranked Washington, Texas A&M is 0-3 and lost at home to LSU, Duke just lost to NCST tonight and they have 5 NBA draft picks and a legendary coach.

At worst protect your home court and steal a couple road games = just fine.

And now they'll come home and win both next week looking good again and go about 10-6 in conference play and get a 6-7 seed like just about everyone thought coming into the year.
That may be fine and dandy for the complacent folk, but I saw this squad wax a top 10 team on a neutral court. If held accountable this group of players can be capable of much, much more than a 6-7 seed.

He needs to learn to influence the game in other ways as well.

He’s too good and experienced not to.
