He's right though, you guys. Before they got to Clemson, Clemson wasn't any better off than Arkansas is now. But Clemson will be forever changed because they built their program the right way. They manufactured tradition.

That's good stuff. Not gonna lie I was hoping for Kiffin but I can see why they went with Morris. Guy is a professional. Outside of the comment about the DC the special teams aspect is great to hear. Not to beat a dead horse but special teams have probably cost us 1-2 games each of the past few seasons.

If he is promising the best D coordinator in the country that means 1 of 2 things.
1. Venables is lined up already.
2. He is talking out of his arse.
He seems too professional to stand up there and and spew bullshite the first time he meets the team. My conclusion is Venables is on the way.

Who are some of the other names that get thrown around as being great DCs? Obviously, Venables is the guy he's probably referencing. But I wonder if there's a young guy that's more available, or someone that's not actually working right now?

Dave Aranda is good. So is Pruitt. Of course Pruitt is off the board now. Todd Grantham. Don Brown. I'm actually really impressed with Brown. Michigan is outstanding on defense.
