Not a good look when respected former players start openly bad mouthing the coach. Can't imagine he lasts past this year.

I was honestly expecting it to be Morris's stupid pursed lip face after showing Bobby. Someone should edit it to that

Wait I thought all of CBP’s players hated him??

Another bullshite fallacy professed by soft bitches apparently.

The BMFP "LOOK OUR PLAYERS IN THE EYE!" still gets me hype. I understand why our teams were always tough under him, I'm about to run through a brick wall right now

If he hadn't lost that edge I wouldn't mind bringing him back, but the risk isn't worth the reward now

Yeah, talk to some Louisville fans and zero chance anyone would want that guy back. He's done.

The nose dive his program takes in year 5 is a well documented fact, however.

I wish the people who want to bring him back at least could come up with some defense for this but all you get is "but look what he did here". Maybe if the nose drive at Louisville happened before his tenure here but it didn't. That is also overlooking the other big issue.

It did.

They claim it was Krags fault.

It happened here.

"It was Smiles fault."

It happens for the second time at Louisville.

"His AD was fired, he knew he was on his way out."

The better question is why he couldn't keep the program rolling where Strong had them, he never was able to get Louisville back to that level.

4 years of good football for a nosedive in year 5 sounds like a great trade-off considering where we are now.

I doubt you’d get 4 good years out of him. No one wants to work with him anymore which makes his life difficult.

Your suppose to come in with the build a wall around the volleyball complex and make him sell that Harley har-dar-har

Not that he would be eligible for rehire if anyone who mattered actually wanted him.

I don’t think we want him back... his mojo was killed off in very public fashion.

But I miss watching one like him.

I think folks are missing the point. It's not necessarily about Petrino. It's about gimmicks and slogans. When you see that shite from a head coach, run far away. Leave that for the coordinators on the recruiting trail. A good head coach is all business.

Tyler was his QB. Let’s give Tyler $250k a year to come and give us his best Bobby Petrino impersonation. Bring in Nutt as AD/Associate Head Coach to run the admin side and give some firey pregame speeches. Mallett can be our academic liaison, making sure all our players get scantrons. Hell, John L could come back for special teams. Willy Robinson on D. I bet that crew could squeeze out 4 or 5 wins.

Well PJ Fleck and Dabo are the same way and they win. Miles is as goofy as it gets. Probably true for our situation though.

It was really more like one bad year, one average-above average year and two great years. But I would still take that right now
