I got a call from a key recruits dad about 230 or so. I was busy on other line couldn't answer. I called him back around 2:50, 2:55. I had to do a show with Jason Pattyson for Hogville Youtube at 3. The parent has been a great source for me for a few years. He has given me countless information and never been wrong. He told me when I called back the UA had told the recruit Sam wouldn't be back. He misunderstood the conversation and later told me he misunderstood. He was very apologetic. I said stop with the apology crap. I was rushing to do the show with Jason and posted what he had told me knowing he had never been wrong about anything before. That was some sloppy, very bad reporting on my part. I should have waited til I got off the show with Jason and confirmed some stuff. I made a mistake and a sloppy one. I don't usually do that. I do my best to stay away from rumors, but I trusted this source and made a very bad decision. That isn't on him, that is 1000% on me. I guess a shot without naming me was taken at me about the post Monday. I am very, very, very sorry for any harm I did to UA. But I tend to think the bigger concern with them should be the product they are putting on field on Saturdays. The 7-3 and 48-10 losses at home hurt much more than any post, no matter how big a mistake, I make. I am sorry for the sloppy reporting. I don't do that. I did it Sunday and that is on me completely. I was told some on here was taking shots at me. I haven't seen it and honestly I don't care what people say about me. It was a mistake, a bad one and sloppy decision I made. I made it and I can live with the criticism, my concern is just never make a similar mistake again. It was all my fault and I take the blame for it fully. But that is an honest statement on what happened Sunday and no one asked me to post this. This is my decision.
