Nobody seems to agree with you. Since you made it personal. I’m guessing you’re a shitty engineer or shitty lawyer. Or an accountant. You clearly know more than the rest of us.

Briles decided to get cute on a series and killed it.
Who knows if we would have scored on that drive or not, but still..

Everything you’ve said has been “dumb”. Don’t insinuate that I’m an idiot because I dare question our stupid arse decision-making. Coaching fail across the board. End of story. Call that stupid and ask who does and doesn’t agree. If that doesn’t work. We can always meet at the Alma Sonic.

Literally called our coaches imbeciles and asked why they didn't just put the ball in the endzone

You're going to get made fun of if you say that, sorry man

Briles and Fountain both sucked tonight, but the two red zone possessions where we fricked the dog and came away with 0 points were on KJ and Stromberg.

KJ up the middle on the goal line was the right call. The fact that he tried to Superman over the top from the 3 yard line on FIRST DOWN was a profoundly stupid thing to do. It’s insane to me that we’ve now had 2 games in a row where we’ve fumbled on the fricking goal line.

That last possession was totally on Stromberg. We had 2nd and 5 on their 16. If he doesn’t frick up there, in all likelihood we keep running it down their throat and go up 28-23. 2nd and 5 turned into 3rd and impossible, which set up a 42 yarder.

Let me clarify. If having KJ with an empty backfield on 1st down with 4 to go is a smart play, please take a poll and get back to me. You know what I and others mean and you’re trying to defend yourself and it’s sad. I don’t honestly care if you think people will think it’s sad. I think you should consider how many people are now questioning our coaching staff’s decision-making.

Why an empty backfield with our rbs on the KJ play on 1st down? Why is that a good call with 4 good rbs?

To spread out the defense.

We run that play often on the goal line and short yardage situations and it has a high success rate.

It doesn’t call for KJ to try to reenact Bo Over The Top from the 3 yard line.

I understand. But we also run plenty of goal line/close sets with rbs and once again we made a poor decision instead of just doing what we should do. We handed the ball off all the way down the field most of the night, but why would we ever continue that when we can get cute and not score… It’s a constant. It was junior high gimmick stupid shite.

We handed the ball off to Rocket on the goal line last weekend and he fumbled too.

So what’s your point?

No reason for qb dive there... Its basically running a qb sneak from shotgun.

At least run some misdirection.

And while we had three WRs in, we really didn't spread shite out.

Sanders was up near the line and we had a TE in.

It was one of those Tim Tebow type formations from back in the day. Everyone on the field knows what’s about to happen and they’re just daring you to stop it. If he doesn’t go Michael Jordan on it, it sets us up for 2nd and 1 or 2 and an easy TD but yet here we are now with the L.

I'm not taking any blame off of the dumb frick wannabe superman shite from KJ, but it doesn't change the fact that it was not a good playcall, which Briles has very much shown a propensity for.

BTW, we don't have Tebow. Not even close to it.

If he doesn’t go superman, how is it not a good play call? It would have gained positive yards. It just wouldn’t have scored. I fail to see how that one was on Briles in any way shape or form. Blame him for the Hornsby series and the Haselwood trick play for sure but this one wasn’t him.

Maybe

You tell me... If you were the A&M D coordinator, with the way that we were lined up, would it have been mostly obvious what we were doing?

At best we get lucky and pick up a TD or a couple of yards, but chances are we get a yard or so.

Rocket did nothing while we had the ball during the play. Why even have him in there? Just put another OL or a TE in there.

If you don't want to allow subs, then at least let Rocket be a lead blocker.

It's a piss poor play design, that really only makes sense from the 2 or closer.

Many of our goal line plays are rather questionable. We try too hard to get KJ the TD vs just getting the ball in the EZ imo.

we basically ran the exact same play on 3rd and 1 and 4th and 1 at different times in the game and both got us a first down. Both times out of an empty backfield too I believe. And that’s nothing briles has come up with Meyer and mullins was doing that with Tebow back in 08
