People blaming Briles for that need their brain checked

Guess I need my brain checked. 1st and goal on the 4 with our line and running backs, I’m handing it off to them at least twice. Pretty stupid not to, but my brain needs checked.

I highly doubt that play was called for him to take a flying leap from 4 yards out. If he just keeps his feet on the ground he probably pushes the pile for a yard or two and we never speak of the play again

No reason to leap. It was so uncharacteristic of him. Oh well

Yeah it probably does. The QB run, especially on the goal line, is a staple of this offense. I'm not sure what you expect. Briles didn't tell him to jump

It’s a dumb staple when it’s known that it won’t work. Stop acting holier than thou and admit that Briles shite the bed.

It’s never going to be perfect but I’m the end the players have to execute. Briles didn’t call the fumble at the end zone or the botched snap and Odom didn’t call for all the missed tackles and the horseshoe that was up max Johnson’s arse. Everything that could go wrong did and so we lost to an inferior team by 2 points. We most likely won’t win next week but there’s a chance and I think we’ve still got a 9/10 win season opportunity. Try not to melt too hard tonight guys but I know this one sucks.

It's their job to make sure the dumb shite don't happen. Any other defense in the country picks off at least one of those shitty arse passes. Johnson just kept heaving passes that looked like he was heaving a rotisserie chicken waaaaay up in the air to no one and we came down with it no one damn time.

Briles gets us to the opponents 30 and then lets Make a Wish kids call the plays.

Or, you could hand it off to the leading SEC rusher, behind a top 3 offensive line for run blocking a couple of times, and see what happens.

Yes. Do you? It was painfully obvious that kj was going to run and we didn’t even have a rb in the backfield and he made another dipshit decision trying to be a hero because his OC left him out to dry. 1ST AND 4. You’re a moron if you think that was the right call in that situation with 4 good running backs.

On 1st down. We never should have not had a rb in the backfield with how we play and how we were doing. We deviated to be cute and paid as usual. We might as well have run 3 reverse plays in a row with Hudson Henry.

This is prime Monday Morning Quarterbacking, congrats. You're taking KJ fumbling because of a dumb decision and saying that therefore the play call is bad.

Yeah they probably know we're going to run it there. It doesn't mean they're going to stop it, especially when we spread them out like that.

And then he fumbles and you shite yourself asking why we didn't just sneak it

No, it’s saying the probability of scoring a touchdown goes up if you hand the ball to your stud running back, behind your solid offensive line. You only have to get 4 yards.

4 yards no running back. Yeah. I remember when we had a coach that loved to run “trickeration” plays as he called it and we constantly shite the bed. Just put the fricking ball in the endzone.

It blows my mind that people are now questioning running our massive QB on the goal line out of empty, which is something basically every OC does with a QB like that, because he made a bad decision.

You defending the coaching in this game just makes you look like a typical sycophant loser. Do you wear overalls with your name stitched in the back? Anyone with a functioning brain should not be pleased with the outcome of this game. You probably think we’ll “show up” against Bama.

Ya but it's also like blaming Briles for the Stromberg bad snap. Just line up under center late so that can't happen!

If only.

Nice strawman. Literally never said nor indicated I was pleased with the game. There's tons of criticism to be had. But not the dumbass criticism you've been spouting here.

Wish there was a block feature so I'd be saved from reading your takes

On first and goal from the 4? Let your mind be blown then. It’s not a shite call on 3rd down, after being stopped a couple of times, but first down, when you’ve been pretty good running the ball?
