Anybody else catch ol Bob today?

Comes in, waves his appearance fee, and tells the fans how sorry he is and how great the state of Arkansas is.

They it’s an hour or reliving the glory days.

Definitely not what chad needed to happen at this moment in his tenure.

As I was told, he would apologize and grovel a bit...

Or it's exactly what he needed... fire Craddock, hire Bobby as OC

It's not like he's getting another head coaching job after Louisville

And as I predicted people are already, as of last night, saying we need to re-hire him. Our football program is such a clusterfrick.

Get ready for heaps more drama.

This is a good idea, except for one thing, we know that this dude has no problems politicking behind the scenes in an effort to get his boss fired. He's a pretty legendary scumbag.

Hire him to write the script of plays to start the game and out of halftime.

Well, in all fairness, we haven't had anybody pull FOIA requests or fly banners over the stadiums in a while.

I leave you this gift from DEVICEHIGH because it still makes me laugh.

I want to believe he is sincere but given his track record it's hard to accept.

I've been on record as highly critical of the Morris hire, and although I don't actively want him fired, it seems a foregone conclusion to me that he'll be gone and I'm not a fan of the wasted time.

That said, I'll take 1–11 this year and another year of that with Morris over rehiring Bobby Petrino, and that's 0% hyperbole. I'm thankful to Bobby for showing us that it could be done here, but the collateral damage that happened has been unreal. Not to mention, we just saw him go 2–10 last year - same as Chad, in his fifth year in an easier conference.so you can't even maintain the illusion that it would be different anymore.

There's no moving forward with Petrino as HC. At all. I'm not interested in that. I'm at least hanging onto a sliver of hope that Morris will hit his stride and we haven't seen the best of him.

Petrino's bad season was due to his lack of recruiting. Not his coaching prowess. I'd hire him back in a heartbeat. Just surround him with some top notch recruiters and a decent DC. Fact I'd keep the current defensive staff and just get rid of that beady eyed c u n t and his high school O.C.

Petrino and Chavis as our coordinators gets me hard. No way to hiring him as our HC

This issue here is that no one wants to work for him any more.

Way easier said then done so that is another reason why Bobby as a head coach should be a hard pass by everyone.

He could be successful in the right situation as an OC though.

Not possible. Petrino is far too strong of an ego, personality to take orders from Chert.

His comment on preparing for LR games:

We had to prepare the guys for what to do when the scoreboard went out, because we knew it always happened.
