The below is based off of the Outback Bowl two deep roster and from earlier in the season two deeps. Bold is returning starters on offense. Bold w/ (*) on DL are guys who played meaningful minutes this season and started a game or two. (Any input on two deep at LB & OL is appreciated.)

Immediate concerns: Need portal help for depth at LB.

Offense (9 Starters Return)
QB: KJ Jefferson, Malik Hornsby
RB: Dominique Johnson, Rocket Sanders, AJ Green
WR: Warren Thompson, Jaqualyn Crawford, Bryce Stephens, Ketron Jackson, Jadon Haselwood
TE: Trey Knox, Hudson Henry
OT: Dalton Wagner, Ty'Kieast Crawford
RG: Beaux Limmer, Luke Jones
C: Ricky Stromberg, ?
LG: Brady Latham, ?
LT: Jalen St. John, ?

Defense (7 starters return)
DE: Eric Gregory, Jashaud Stewart
DT: Isaiah Nichols*, Marcus Miller, Taurean Carter
DE: Zach Williams*, Mataio Soli
WLB: Bumper Pool, Drew Sanders
MLB: Andrew Parker,
CB: Hudson Clark, Khari Johnson
S: Myles Slusher, Malik Chavis
S: Jalen Catalon, Jayden Johnson
S: Simeon Blair
CB: LaDarrius Bishop, Dwight McGlothern
Nickel: Jacorrei Turner

Special Teams
K/PK: Cam Little
P: Reid Bauer
LS: John Oehrlein
Holder: Reid Bauer
Kick Return: AJ Green, Rocket Sanders
Punt Return: Nathan Parodi

Odom seems to love Clark. Hopefully someone steps in and takes that spot over. The amount of returning DBs should lighten everyone’s concern though. We return a ton of depth on the back end.

Clark is fundamentally sound and rarely out of position.. so as long as he makes perfect decisions every play. He's not gonna catch anyone from behind or make up for even a slight hesitation though.

Jaqualyn Crawford

Based off the rotation yesterday and what’s coming in, I think it’s safe to say he’s not going to be a contributor here.

Sometimes I forget he’s even on the team much less the field. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing.

Bishop made a couple big pass breakups yesterday on deep balls. I think it’s one wasn’t technically a PBU because the throw was out of bounds but it was still good coverage. Supposedly the kid can fly

The less you notice a DB, especially a CB, the better. I've noticed Blair a lot this year. Lots of memories of him getting toasted or taking awful angles.

Yep, Brooks and foucha both seemed to be boom or bust as well. People would try to pick on them and sometimes they’d get toasted but others they’d make a big play

Also I believe foucha has the option to return as well

He does. I doubt he returns, though.

I figure between Pool, Ridgeway, and Foucha, we get one of those guys back. Their importance would be in that order.

Pool would be the biggest get since we're paper thin at LB and breaking in an entirely new LB corps would scare the hell out of me.

Yep. That’s why I only listed Pool.

I expect Crawford to start at tackle next year. Pit has mentioned his improvement this year many times

Agreed. It'd be between him and St. John, but the coaching staff and has seemed extremely high on Crawford.

Not sure why everyone craps all over Hudson Clark. He is rarely out of position and makes for a solid defender. Need another corner to step up since Brown is leaving tho

He's ok. He can matchup with a 2nd or 3rd WR ok. But he's not gonna be able to be 1 on 1 or play press coverage ever against sec teams even on the 2nd and 3rd WR. He's just not athletic enough. It's unfortunate cause he's a hard worker and has excellent instincts. Honestly would like to see us keep him around as a GA after he's done and have him teach more DBs the fundamentals of the position.

Hoping this is the year we finally get to see what all the Devin Bush hype was about and he becomes a player for us.
