Do either one come with ties to major bag men? Boosters with loose wallets? A stack of Visa gift cards?

Malcolm Kelly please if those are our two choices. He beat Stepp straight up for Savion Williams.

West has recruit quotes saying they’ve talked to Gution today. Sounds like he’s the one.

If nothing else I’m impressed that we moved this quick to make a hire.

They've known for a while that Stepp was leaving

Hearing the back story on this one should be fun. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen recruits saying they’ve already talked to their new coach today when the outgoing coach hasn’t even officially been announced as taking the other job.

Guiton it is.

Multiple sources have indicated to HawgSports that Colorado State wide receivers coach Kenny Guiton is expected to take over the wide receivers coach position at the University of Arkansas.

What a poor look for our 247 bozos. Smug pricks when Stepp to SC rumor came about weeks ago, and turns out he was hired back then all along. Lol.

Biddy and West are morons like the rest of the Arkansas "media".

They were like fiddles in this one it seems. I guess as consolation, they get to break the new WR coach story.

Exactly. It was kinda obvious what was going on....he was holding out past signing day and also giving Arkansas time to hire a new coach to replace him before announcing his resignation. I hate that he's leaving, but at least he went about it professionally.

Otis is out on social media saying another coach is now leaving too. Anyone know who it is. I saw Jamil Walker interviewed with South Carolina but I’m not sure I’d call him a coach when breaking news.

Update from Trey:

There is real reason to be concerned on both Jamil Walker to South Carolina and Barry Odom to Texas.

I haven't confirmed anything yet, but one person has told me to watch out for both.

I'd say even more so on Walker right now based on what I've heard, but that's just b/c my sources aren't as strong on Odom, and I do think his relationship with Pittman could

We aren’t allowed to have nice things.

Better than the Briles to Texas OC rumor. Odom honestly I'd be whatever on after the direction of the defense as the season went on.

S&C coaches are a dime a dozen I feel like.

Yeah I’d much rather lose Odom than Briles. I’m really not a fan though that both are popping up on lists everywhere. There are just way too many high profile OC/DC jobs open in our region right now for us to make it out unscathed. Very frustrating to know that Pitt may have to start his staff all over again in year 2.

I'm not worried at all. It's not that I don't think we will lose anymore, it's that I have complete trust that Pittman can get us quality guys even if they leave. It is one of his biggest upsides to me. Good coaches want to work for him.

I heard Walker is gone... Odom is meeting with Texas to listen, and Briles isn't going anywhere yet.

He wants to be around until he is offered a HC position this time.

Losing Walker sucks. That was a massive step for Odom.

I get Stepp leaving to go home and would even understand Odom leaving because it's Texas but don't get why Walker would leave for South Carolina. He has no connections to the area at all other than being at Georgia for a bit.

All of this is hopefully wrong.

But got a text from a friend.. You know how it goes. the cool part to me is that Briles is invested in turning around our program on the O side and proving his worth as a HC. tire of moving around, etc.

Also, Art visited the offices recently at the UofA athletic facilities.
