Without Big Z ...

If we play the whole game with the intensity of the 2nd half... we blow them out. Not sure the reasoning there. Like Cal gets them going at half time.

Too early to proclaim that. We've got (two?) players that have ever played together - Theiro and Wagner are the only two, I think.
It takes a bit for a new team gel. Hopefully we see it starting to come together soon.

This team won't finish top half of the SEC. Gonna be another stinker of a season.

I think the second half of today's game is the best we've looked all year.

Offense was in rhythm, quick, and aggressive.

Defense was smothering.

If that team shows up the rest of the year we could be good.

But we cannot have slow starts every game. And we cannot turn the ball over at a high rate.

At least he fails me in the regionals or later. I can handle that, I’m not expecting any coach to win championships, I’m not deluded. I expect coaches to be win the games they should, catch a couple people and not blow games… do I want championship, yes. But not one coach has shown me that will ever happen.

Baseball postseason is kind of different in that we get the chance to host the Regional and Super Regional - and usually do. We don't have to go out there on neutral ground and hope for the best. It's frustrating with DVH because since our 2018 season, he's lost two regular season series at home. Two series in six years. And that's against multiple CWS/Super Regional-bound teams, many times even the eventual national champion. That's a substantial home field advantage - it has to be one of the better home field advantages in the sport.

But we got upset in the Regional we hosted in 2024 and 2023, and lost the Super Regional we hosted with possibly the best team we've ever had in 2021. We somehow made it to the CWS in 2022, but that was without hosting the Regional. We probably somehow wouldn't have made it if we did host.

When we're ranked in the top five for the entirety of the year and we win every single home series, I really do expect us to win every Regional we host, and 9/10 of the Supers we host. It defies logic that we don't, given what we accomplish throughout the year against crushingly stout competition. DVH is like the baseball Richt or Barnes or something.

That's not even me hating. I love me some DVH. But he has some the unclutchest teams I've ever seen.

I'm 62. I was 2 years old the last time we won a football championship...and that has an asterick by it. I've gone from being really proud to call myself a Razorback football fan, to being ashamed of it and hiding it from people.

I do remember Nolan and 94 well. Glorious. I also remember "You can Pay me" and all that followed that. I'm hopeful but skeptical regarding basketball.

Baseball is ok. Obviously I remember the pop up Shaddiness, but at least we get in conversations regarding baseball.

I'm not much of a T&F fan.

I just don't have another 60 years to be patient with.
