45 days left. Everyone is acting like a vagine, so what's positive?
I'm looking forward to seeing Devwah Whaley as a feature back. Here's to him becoming a household name

Froholdt should be much improved.
OL play overall should be better. Running game needs to dominate as the game drags on.
Allen should have a better season with more time to throw in the pocket.
Devwhah should have a tremendous year. Hammonds is going to do some great things as well.
Our defense, while not being great, should fair much better against the spread in the 3/4. Excited to see what Ramsey can do. Agim, Capps, Guidry, Bijohn are tremendous talents up front.
Pulley is gonna do work.. and the secondary as a whole should be a solid unit.
Those are my positives. But they have to show up on game day. Hopefully the coaches will put them in a position to succeed.

It's football.

That and I'm excited to see how the new faces at WR, RB and TE perform.

Hopefully we'll only have one 20-plus point halftime lead disappear instead of two...that's positive, right?

I'm looking forward to seeing what Maleek Williams can do after the practice reports. (I know, I know).

Our running game is going to produce more home runs than last year. Nothing against Raleigh, but he was never going to be a consistent threat to take one 80 yards in an SEC game. I think Whaley and Hammonds are both capable of that.

Defensive effort will be much different this year. Rhoads will have them fired up. Do they have the talent to be an effective defense? I hope so

I am positive that I have no idea what kind of team we will be.
I'm generally an optimist, but last year soured me. Normally, I could look past and know that tough seasons are usually followed by good seasons.....expected or unexpected. This season, I want to believe, but I can't help but have low expectations.
If our OL can run block and have improved pass blocking then our Offense could click along well. With all those WRs gone and RW3 retiring, this season should be a "perfect storm" for all those TEs we've been piling up. A steady diet of Waley and double TE sets could help open up some deep balls.
On paper, our starters on Defense look pretty talented. Hopefully these guys can stay pretty healthy because I don't think we have enough depth yet to compensate. I think our reserves can be good enough to give the starters a rest, but not ready to take the reigns.
I have no idea what our ST situation is.

This team should have a great deal of experience, especially on the offensive side of the ball. The schedule should be a bit easier too.
Arkansas needs to focus on Arkansas to have a good season this year, no second half blunders.
Hogs are still my surprise team in the west this year-9 regular season wins.

TCU and Aggie loom large this year. Win those and I can see 9 wins, lose them, hello 5-7

I'm definitely not as negative as I was at the end of last season. Absense makes the heart grow fonder even in football I suppose. My expectations are low or at least well tempered and there's a lot of stuff going on in my own world way more important than the Hogs w/l record right now so I'm hoping to just sit back and enjoy the ride and comraderie on game days etc this season and take whatever comes with calmness and gentility (shockingly that's not always my strong suit
).
I I I I I will always loooooooove youuuuuu, my darling you...

It will be nice to finally have a video board in the SEZ. That's about all I got.

Looking forward to the short drive to Shreveport to watch the hogs dominate the weedwhacker bowl.

I will continue saving money instead of wasting it on trips to Fayettenam to watch a meh football program.
Might even get me another fly rod.

quote:this mostly. What's not to like? And also I think our offense can be very potent. If we can slow down the rushing attacks that the sec will throw at us I could see us winning 9 or dare I say, 10, regular season games. Auburn and lsu are beatable idc what people say. We just need the lines to step up on both sides of the ball and we've got a shot in both games. Death valley doesn't worry me plenty of guys on the roster were there 2 years ago when we went down there and spanked them
It's football.

As someone who attends games, I thank you. The last thing I need is some dude with a tinfoil hat criticizing my Tyson tenders during a tailgate.
