Don’t talk about me being fired, it hurts my wife’s feelings and recruiting. I don’t know why I have to answer this question.

This is going to be toxic 2007 all over again if he’s not fired this year. No way this doesn’t end bad for everyone next year.

Been saying that the whole time.

People like Sam, but others want to win. That’s going to rip the fans apart again.

The digital age's "laminated news paper articles on the coffee table" for those who remember.

Sad so many are going to be blindsided by this going sour. Demanding a huge buyout that technically based on record, but excluding 10 SEC games from the record was a huge hint it was going to go this way.

And our dipshit AD ever agreeing to such a dumb contract should have him on the hot seat. His fate should be directly tied to Sam.

I watched the presser, if I heard correctly he attributed all of the TV comments during the game to Hunter and said he didn't talk to them before the game.

If that's what he said, it's obviously a lie, both coaches talk to the TV people pregame.

Sounds like Pitt is trying to tie himself around Hunters neck...

I’d cut that fat albatross loose.

I’d say look no one wanted our job after Morris fricked it up. But I did find and hire Muss. Let this next football hire be what you judge me on.

Sam actually actually blamed the toothless Arkansas media for perpetuating what he essentially called lies about his job status.

And the went on to say that everyone should just shut up and take the losing because "that kind of talk kills us in recruiting."

He even made Bob Holt say "Well, they talked about all this in the broadcast, I had to ask."

Ah yes, Sam. It's all the media's fault. Eveyone feels phenomenal with a coach who literally said "I didn't know what to do" when talking about in-game decisions.

Therr just isn't any way this situation doesn't crater the morale of the program and blow up in the admin face.

That was some big ole oof right there. Sam has to answer questions about his job because he keeps losing games and his only answer has been I don't know what's wrong....

How does getting blown out at home to a team that got blown out by NMSU affect recruiting, Sam?

I do think the questions about his job security are a little pointless though. It’s not like he can do much about it at this point and it’s not even up to him. Of course every coach is going to say they’re not worried about it

Meh, they are important because they give insight into the things to come.

For example, Sam is trying to tie himself to Hunter similar to how nutt was tied to Frank and Bert to Long.

It's now on Hunter to separate himself or finish tieing the knot.

exactly. It’s stupid to ask him those questions. Should be asking Hunter that
