Did I not get the memo? Something big going to happen this season? Lol seems like we're in a quiet secret room this off-season.

Anyways hope all is well with you all!

Bert killed the fanbase. These days we just post about how we don't care anymore.

There's a bit of a lul right now. There will be plenty of sailing once postseason college baseball gets fully underway.

Arkansas football is on life support. If we miss a bowl it will be dead, and both Bielema and Jeff Long will be fired. 6-6 or 7-5 with a shitty bowl will just prolong the apathy.

Unfortunately Bielema got that huge contract after the high of the Texas Bowl win. Now he has ZERO incentive to even perform well. He'll make a lot more money if he gets fired. And when you see how fat he is, the prospect of getting paid several million dollars to not work is probably pretty enticing for him.

Long isn't going to be fired. Bielema is probably inevitable but Long isn't going anywhere unless he leaves voluntarily.

In the grand scheme of things I don't think that matters much when talking about Bert's incentive to win or perform well. Most coaches have pride attached to the work they do, no one wants a whole state to turn against them.

Having said that, the buyout was a huge mistake

If he had pride he wouldn't be disgustingly obese.

In nautical terms we are in the doldrums right now, the inter tropical convergence zone around the equator where the prevailing winds are calm.

Metaphorically speaking Bert is at the crossroad of his career here at Arkansas. Will favorable wins lift our sails to treasures long forgotten, or will Bert's bloated carcass emit a stench of something rotten.

If he goes 5-7 and doesn't get fired then he should be coaching for his and longs job at the least in 2018
