I see this as a close one. ULL puts up at least 17, and we don't cover 10.5. Hogs 28, ULL 21

I'm just having a hard time believing ULL will be that good. I know they played Florida close last year, but with overtime inevitable they got a punt blocked and run in for a touchdown as time expired. They choked big time.
They lost to North Texas.
They got blown out by stAte 50-27.
Gave up 65 to Okie Lite.
And their biggest win was against East Carolina, a game in which they gave up 34 points.
I think we handle them easily. Their pass defense is atrocious and that's going by Sun Belt standards.

I already went through the "delusional" stage when I was a bit younger. Age has made me more of a realist, but I'll try to channel that delusion & make a more acceptable prediction.

That's not it for me. If TDub hadn't gotten hurt we would have beat ULM by at least 4 TD's. That was just a fluke game.
My opinion of it being a close game is just that its the first game under a new system and we are replacing our leading passer, rusher, receiver and like top two or three tacklers from last year. They're going to be growing pains no matter what.
