We could go super cheap hire nothing but up and comers, halt of infrastructure spending, cut back to minimal support staff with up and comers, reduce the recruiting budget to where an assistant can drive to and from.
Take all of the left over money and pour into the only program delivering a ROI to the fans in basketball.
Football would be exactly where it's at. Basketball would be exactly where it could be.

It’s gonna be hilarious when Pittman isn’t fired, everyone trolled by some random poster on a message board.

We've gone 7 pages and no one has mentioned a specific candidate.

What about Dan Mullen? Not going to win the SEC but would be in a bowl game every year. That would be a hugh improvement.

He doesn't like to recruit and he is a dick.
So if a 4 to 8 win rollercoaster is fine, may as well keep Sam.

Have a brother in law that's a BMD and rubs elbows with all the fancy wine and cheese donors in Fayetteville, he says expect Pittman to resign with a renegotiated, lowered sum
Could be just a bunch of BS, but he's pretty connected to the rumor mill. He's more of a basketball donor than football though

Same old BS. Sam's not getting fired or forced into retirement

He said he has no plans to retire and still believes he's the right man for the job.
Sounds like HY is gonna have to fire him if we want him out. Could get ugly

Pittman to resign with a renegotiated, lowered sum
We have no leverage, at all, to fire with cause.
Pittman/Sexton will get the max out of it possible. He has all the leverage and no legal/moral/ethical reason to take a lower sum.

People will blame sexton, but Hunter is responsible for this mess with the bidding up the salary against himself and locking into a worse than chaggy buyout situation.

The only leverage we have is the duty to mitigate clause on the monthly installments, since he's sure as hell not getting another job.

And yet you've been whining about our AD being "too cheap" or "going cheap" when it comes to football and trying to keep up with the rest of the conference
On one hand y'all bitch about giving an SEC head coach a below average salary that's still too much money in your opinion, then on the other hand y'all bitch about our AD trying to be cheap.
Which one is it?
