Oxford roll call

I was actually going to make a thread regarding this trip asking for input, but I have some business I need to address this weekend.

I always have a spot to tailgate in Oxford (family) but a close friend of mine invited me to join them at another tailgate, but this one is with the coaches wives (Ole Miss).

I was wondering if I should take them up on the offer and troll the hell out of the wives. Maybe with a Mississippi state flag and/ or have a life size cut out of HDN made and bring it. Wasn't sure what to do, but gave up on it since I'm not going.

Could have been fun.

Making my first trip as well with some friends. Staying in Tunica but any good spots to grab lunch and a beer at before the game and strolling the grove?

Count me in, last minute. Section R row 5, and my first trip to Oxford as well. I haven't been to a regular season away game since 2011 @ Vandy when we squeaked out a 3 point win. My last "away" game in general was that same season (although it was then 2012) at the Cotton Bowl that we dominated against Kansas St. Hopefully I bring the cotton bowl luck and not the Vandy luck with me.

Well...that was fun. Somehow I'm still alive after last night.

Oxford was incredible. Seriously the nicest people I've ever met. Even on the square last night, when the hundreds of Arkansas fans down there were (rightfully ) pretty obnoxious with our high fives and woo pigs, everyone was still awesome and congratulatory. A weekend I'll certainly never forget.
