The quarterbacks were practicing throwing into a net in the corner of the end zone from approximately 20 yards away. Here are the results:

Hicks 0/6

Starkel 2/6

Jones 2/6

Unless that net was like 2' x 2' I'm pretty sure I could have got at least one in.

Damn, Hicks.

Is net throwing the basket type netting where you float a ball and hope it lands in a certain spot or the nets with 6 little pockets on it?

At those completion rates they need to set up the dr pepper cans and put scholarship money on the line.

He sucks. Watch his practice videos, he can't throw a spiral.

From reports, he is the best at moving the team down field. Starkel has a great spiral, but concerns are with interceptions. Nick only has one SEC win.

Hicks will start, Starkel will play second half of Portland State. Will be expecting KJ to play up to 4 games as well, or get some game time in certain situations.

Chad keeps praising JSJ after these scrimmages. Apparently he’s been showing out and nobody is talking about him. I don’t know if chad is just trying to motivate the other 2 QBs, but something to pay attention to.

Pretty sure he moved the ball the best last scrimmage.

Starkel had three TDs today as well. Razorback football twitter posted a nice gif of Burks making a diving catch

I wouldn't go that far. He definitely knows the offense. But yeah his ball is not the prettiest by any means. Also lacks zip you'd expect from a guy his size. Unless Starkel is just a complete brainlett when it comes to learning the playbook, I just don't see Hicks keeping the job this year if he even starts with it.
