Unfortunately for them in what is supposed to be huge seasons, it will end up being disastrous.

I don't understand why Sam went to a different offense when he could have gone after another OC that ran a similar veer offense.

I just can't get over how bad our OL is.

Probably one of the worst I've ever seen.

They are slow, weak, and get flustered very easily.

Pittman should be embarrassed. What a joke.

What was particulary infuriating was not that Army expected to pick up those first downs... by the second half you could tell UTSA fully expected Army to pick up those first downs as well.

Pittman talks about bully ball and imposing our will on the other team but when we line up in a short yardage situation our opponent expects to make the stop and probably make it in our backfield.

ARKANSAS RAZORBACKS (2-5, 0-4)

quote:

Midseason grade: F

On a five-game losing skid, execution in the fourth quarter has been the issue along with inconsistent offensive line play and production at various skill spots. Four of five losses came by a single possession, the other in the form of a second-half letdown against Texas A&M at AT&T Stadium in September. Arkansas wasted multi-year starter K.J. Jefferson's senior season at quarterback and likely won't go bowling.

All I can say is I am glad it's KJ, a MS guy that will put us out of our misery. Our secondary is non-existent.

Doesn’t matter when our offensive line of matadors gives KJ half a second to throw the ball.

How is your defense against slow developing run plays? Asking for a friend.

I would recommend not running it and just passing it. You should be able to drop 40+ that way.

I am not joking when I say Western Michigan receivers were scorching us. Zach Arnett somehow saw a SWAC level secondary during the offseason and decided to do nothing about it.

Sounds like Sam is gonna get our offensive line right by running it 99% of the plays up the middle. And only throwing when we need to win and are down 21.

funny you should say that. Sam Pittman saw a MEAC level offensive line and also decided to do nothing about it

Art officially cleared.
quote:

U.S. District Judge Robert Pitman dismissed the gross negligence claims against Briles, former athletic director Ian McCaw and Baylor University. Judge Pitman declared “no reasonable jury can conclude” that the defendants were “grossly negligent” based on the evidence presented at trial.

“I am happy for Coach Briles. He did nothing wrong,” Briles’ attorney, Reed Simpson, said.
