Love the guy, but he’s Mike Martin 2.0.
Martin went to Omaha 17 times, only made the finals twice, and won zero titles. DVH has gone to Omaha 9 times, the finals only once, and has zero titles. That’s 26 combined CWS appearances with only 3 trips to the finals and zero titles.
Meanwhile, Pat Casey only went to Omaha 6 times, yet he won it 3 times. Tim Corbin has only gone to Omaha 5 times, but he’s gone to the finals 4 times and won it twice.
