That was some back yard shite from Smith. frick that was nails. Dude grew some chest hair tonight.
No idea how we got out of so many jams. Insane defensive plays but damn, still so much frustrating baseball.
Happy to win, hope we learn something.
Moore, Gregory and Slavens approach at the plate is just fricking horrendous. So much wasted talent.
Very, very happy to beat that team. Even if we lose to UNC, that was worth it and makes the season a success to me.
We’re so shallow on pitching, once again it takes a freshman to do what our 8th year seniors in Ramage and Vermillion cannot.
Great win. That is a tough team and environment. Big heart from our pigs.

Gotta give Dave credit. You know he was doing math in his head on Noland pitch count to roll him out there.
Did the right thing with Smith. Was a high T, non cuck move and damn it paid off.
Striking out Riggio and The Viking was pure awesome.

Eh, I think Ramage deserves some praise. He pitched 2 innings of really good ball. The wheels just came off in his third inning of relief.

Agreed.
You know it probably took everything DVH had to NOT send in Noland or Tygart and instead stick with the hot hand in Smith. Great, gutsy call, which was made much easier by Turner’s two run double.

Water under the bridge though, I feel okay about Noland, Mack and Smith.
Was also big for Tygert. Last night would have been a long arse off season for him had we lost tonight. He can get it back against UNC.
