Sadly, after the last 2 weeks, I'm just waiting for basketball season at this point.

It depends on how the team responds in this game. If they play well then this year will be ok but if they keep making the same mistakes and get spanked then basketball season is looking better each day.

absolutely no expectations heading into tomorrow and hoping we just don’t turn the ball over?

Pretty much how I have approached the Bama game for the last decade.

Which is unfortunate. Since we are better than A&M, we should have taken care of things last week. This week would have been off the charts. Instead, things are really low key. I think V Bainbridge referred to it as Beaten Hog syndrome. That's what we are. So tired of it.

Sometimes I find on YouTube some good hype videos that are suggested and I haven't seen any.

I think the loss combined with Bama coming into town has put the fans in a funk.

Fayetteville has been a morgue compared to last week.

I had two free north end zone tickets offered to me Wednesday and said thanks but no thanks.

Seen people trying to ditch theirs on Facebook as well. People who overpaid a few weeks ago can’t get top dollar prices now .

This isn't directed at anyone but its is kind of crazy to me how some are acting right now. I totally get the bad vibes right now after the last two weeks but it is hard for me to get too upset when I think about how far we have come vs the Chad years which were not that long ago.

Doesn't matter. We are better than A&M, and found way(s) to lose the game. I'll never be happy when we find ways to Arkansas things up. We've got to quit that shite.

I don't expect anyone to be happy after the last two weeks, I just think some are overreacting and projecting that on to the rest of the year like we can't do better.

No question it will be a long year if we continue to make unforced mistakes, but that doesn't seem to really be the trend under Pittman so I'm not as negative over it.

I'm still in a wait and see mode regarding the season as a whole.

It’s so depressing to see a 17 point line after blowing that game last week. It just feels too familiar.

The Chad years were actually great for me in terms of emotional attachment to football. I think many had big dreams for this year, as unrealistic as it was, and are overcompensating with expectations falling back to reality.

Having what seems like an auto loss right after a letdown probably magnifies this feeling as most were expecting a week on the high seas before a giant showdown with Bama.

Starting about noon, Fayetteville was packed and going home the stream of little rockers and Dallas people was endless.

I didn't expect Arkansas to be a playoff contender or go 10-2 in year three. That is asking a lot from Sam. This team is a 8-4/7-5 team. I had them going 9-3 but that hinged on with a A&M win. That didn't happen and with very likely a loss tomorrow and State, Arkansas is sliding back down to earth after floating in space. It would be better to ignore the outside media because they don't do the proper research on these teams and they are making a mistake believing that since Sam is a good coach then Arkansas is as well but that isn't true. It gives the fans false hope that Arkansas is a contender in the West but tomorrow will wake them up from that dream.

I also believe that while Sam is getting good publicity for himself and the school, the media often gives too much credit to the football team as a result of Sam. That isn't a bad thing but it gives Arkansas unfair expectations and ranked higher where the talent level doesn't match. To be honest I would have put them as unranked because they had issues, replacements and weaknesses that needed to be addressed and they are ranked on the success of last year and not what they are coming into this year.

Texas and A&M get ranked high each year because they are from Texas and that state is big money.
