I thought bringing him in so early Friday was questionable. But I get it for yesterday. Nobody in our pen could be trusted in a close game especially with all of them pitching the day before. Game 2 of the regional is so important. It’s really hard to come out of the losers bracket and win a regional.
To my knowledge Kopps is yet to be run from a game this year. It clear DVH is going to live or die riding kopps. We could see some crazy high pitch counts in Omaha.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the amount we see kopps this year is his decision. He’s got to be aware that he isn’t highly sought after as a pro prospect so he might’ve told DVH just to use him up this year for a championship run and if nothing else he’ll become a coach somewhere with van horns help.

Turns out “Mojo” is a cover for the actual name of Morris Johns.
