I don’t know how you win 50 games and only have one pitcher and a pinch hitter you can actually count on. Still not sure if this was DVH’s best coaching performance or his worst one.

Well shite biscuits. We are Arkansas. I'm not surprised. It was a great season regardless.

This series is on the players.
You joke but you aren't going to win no matter who you manager is if you only get 4 hits. Put game 2 on DVH, sure. This wasn't on him, though. Offense never showed up.

We shouldn't have started Kopps today either,

Funny enough, this was actually looking like a smart play until he just let him stay out there till he slowly started losing it.

As I said yesterday though, no reason the bats should have only scored 2 in this game and one run was in big part to an error.

Losing Pallette was big, but even if we had him, you still have to have more than three pitchers that can go more than 1 inning to win in Omaha.

Sucks for Kopps. He gave it his all, but his teammates let him down.

Starting Kopps today actually turned out to be the only move DVH made this week that worked at all.

We got fricking dominated by 2 freshman righties these last 2 games? What in the actual frick is Nate Thompson coaching up our guys to do other than fricking launch angle?

Yeah, was looking rough at first but ended up being really solid till he didn't see the signs in the 8th inning and some in the 7th.

Just crazy how inconsistent the bats were throughout the postseason.

Sitting in the parking lot...Wondering why I love baseball so damn much. Don’t lose a series all season...injury bug hits and Hogs keep plugging along...then we can’t hit the broad side of a barn.

That’s baseball, and I’ll be back watching again next season praying to lose a series or two, because the curse of being #1 overall lives on.

Could say the same about Hobbs and this rickety arse staff.

Like I said, this is classic and now Tenner is going to go and win one in Vitellos 4th year.

Let’s be real. It was part two of the Nebraska “series”. Nebraska was better than us and Welch/Kopps just played the hero roles.

63rd game of the season is the first time we lose a series. Combine that with the injuries we've had over the past couple weeks we were due to lose one but it still sucks.

Their SP today should have been crushed. He threw a lot of junk, but the times he did get it over the plate, our guys just watched those meat pitches go right by them. It was so saod and irritating to watch. They're much better than that.

And then he fricked that up by not pulling him. Absolutely no reason that he should have been there in the 9th in 90+ degree heat on pitch 115

I picked Texas in my D1 bracket challenge.

I think I'd go Vandy now.

Agreed. If your hitters go cold it’s over. Goodheart, Franklin, and Slavens going cold hurt. No amount of great pitching is going to cover that weakness.

Almost 140 game pitches within 24hrs in 90+ heat, not counting warm ups...
