Yes 2018 was a great team but didn’t expect the CWS finals. Didn’t think our starters outside of Knight could bring us there, but our bats just stayed hot, Casey was consistent, and Campbell put it together late.
It’s baseball, you just never know. But this team was loaded and built to win in Omaha.

You don’t have to believe it, but you can go back to the first page where I said he was “rumored” to be transferring. I was told he was transferring weeks ago and that was part of the reason given. I’m not going to doubt the accuracy of a source that has been 100% correct concerning everything they have told me when it comes to the baseball program

Softball with a big time transfer get again, NIL continues to pay up for Deifel despite the postseason bumps.
2x all american Dakota Kennedy transferring from Arizona to UA. .400 hitter in 2024, and .444 in 2025 with a .539 OBP and just 15 K's to 28 walks. Also a gold glover in LF.

Baseball America has the 6-4 Pompey as a potential first round pick in the 2026 MLB draft with one of the loudest hit tools in the draft.

We got Maika Niu from Marshall. Utility guy who can play everywhere but catcher. Double digit homers and steals last season, some swing and miss but sounds like a high upside player with some development. Probably replaces JTJ if he signs.
