Coach Morris... Dayumm!

He was a bit defiant in his conference it seemed to me.

basically we played like shite and won. we need to go get better we're still 1-0 so the season isn't over.

the comments on hicks and starkel are scary. this is what he expected from them and was not a bad performance there just ok.

if that's true sit hicks lets let starkel learn atleast his arm isn't a limp noodle floating screen passes out there for every sec db to jump and take to the house on us.

I guess i'd rather see Hicks and see if his confidence rises.

I don't know what the answer is at QB. I know switching between two isn't going to be good. if we do move to starkel we need to go there and be done.

Why is everybody just ignoring the horrific pick in the red zone that Starkel threw right to their safety with no receivers in the same area code? Or the terrible clock management to end the half?

Hicks was better in game 1. By far.

We will see how the QBs play against Ole Miss.

I do think, considering that neither Hicks nor Starkel set the world on fire, we relied on the passing game a bit too much. When we decided to start pounding the ball with the running game a bit more it seemed to wear Portland State down fairly quickly.

It could be worse folks. We could be Tennessee right now. The worst loss (in terms of against the spread and who their opponent was) in program history and one that wasn't as close as the score indicated because the Vols scored a TD with two seconds left in the game during garbage time.

I remember Bielema saying something similar in 2017 when the season fell to shite after a marquee win over Florida. His arse was pretty sorry when it got fired next year.

What happened to Hammer Down?

Our offensive system is awful, no pace, and the play calling flat out sucks.

burks was open in the end zone behind the dude and was even calling for the ball before the play starkel just should’ve put more air under it and thrown it higher to let burks go make a play but it was the right read. His other 4 passes were complete including a 38 yarder to Knox which was our biggest play of the game. I don’t see how anyone can say hicks was better when starkel only threw 5 passes. Even with the pick starkel still has a better efficiency rating than hicks who should’ve thrown 3 picks and still only managed to throw for around 140 yards
