That game was the last vestige if Jeff Long and his scheduling idiocy. He had some hard-on for scheduling L's against big programs when he should have been trying to find W's for a sinking program.
Looks like SEC will be looking at a 10 game all conference schedule this year.
ACC went to 10 game Conf. Sched. (ND included) today and 1 non conf. game. ND will not choose Arkansas as it's single non conf. game.
I just hope we get the likes of Vandy and Kentucky as our Eastern teams. Knowing Arkansas' luck though, they frick us with Georgia and Florida.
I still dont believe the season is ayed out wholly. If one team gets an outbreak (which will obviously happen) the Admins will shite a brick and call the whole thing off.

Agreed. Give me 4 games of ULM, Akron, Coastal Carolina and Florida A&M quality that are layup wins instead of Notre Dame and Michigan. We need a nice long string of bowl seasons like State did under Mullen scheduling like that to get our rep back up.

I agree the program wasn't/isn't in the place it needs to be yet to play Michigan and Notre Dame. Yet, we need to start playing a big non-conf game every year.
As my daddy used to say, "If you want to run with the big dogs, you've got to get off the porch."

Was gonna be such an awesome trip, like Michigan.

in all seriousness, how can there be games with fans in attendance in the current climate?

Fake. Lies.

Eh, I'd rather lose with a fun trip @ ND than lose to North Texas or SJSU at home like we have been lately. We've been so bad it doesn't really matter if we schedule a big time team or not.

There will be no fans in the stadium. It will be virtually impossible in the liberal climate that we’re in. That’s just my .02
But, what the frick do I know.

shite, with that line of thinking, we might as well join the sun belt and refuse to schedule anybody in the p5. If we cant beat em, run, amirite?

A&M game moved to Kyle Field.
Now previously HY said he'd only okay that if we got next year's game at home but haven't seen that anywhere yet.

Honestly a pretty good deal for us, go to A&M this year when fan attendance is limited then they come here when hopefully we can have full attendance again

That’s actually a very good way to look at it honestly.

First we need to make sure our legs function. I've seen road kill with more athletic ability than our football team the past couple years.

It will definitely be interesting to see how they determine who gets in. I imagine it’ll be some combo of season ticket holders, students and player’s families. Personally, I’d love to go but, with 32k+ season tickets sold, I can’t imagine I’m even remotely high enough up the list with only 5 years of season tickets purchased.

Having been a season tix holder for 12 years... i havent a clue weather i will be allowed in or not.
But we arent going regardless. So, if i have 10 tix available .. and anyone wants to purchase them. they will be available.
We cant risk it with the health problems some of my family has.
