Is it? Are they better or worse than Kent State
Do you think we're going to use Bama as a practice dummy for the running game? Or do you think we might open it up a little more against them?

Food for thought.

holding back on offense from a play calling perspective. Yes, we need to shore up the line and get healthy on OL and RB, but plenty left to throw at teams the next couple weeks.
we just need to run down hill. How hard is it to line up properly, wedge block and get 2 yards? That’s it. Literally it. Block enough to get 3,4 or 1,2 yards when we need it and the enos air attack will do the rest.

Probably in the minority, but I saw a game called towards the weaknesses of week 1 by Enos.

That is what these games are for, glorified scrimmages you aren't suppose to lose. I'm not sure how throwing for 500 yards and winning 72-10 accomplishes anything more than making the team win thru their weakness...
Thank God someone gets it. We threw the ball 19 times and ran it 45. It can't get anymore obvious what we were doing.

Based on what we saw from other teams. We could definitely be walking into a much much worse SEC slate. I agree, if our O-Line clicks and D can stay sound, we’re more dangerous than most of the SECW teams. I’m hopeful that we’re shaking some rust off in areas that we should be good enough to be competitive or better in. We should be able to find our running groove and D is better on paper. Having KJ is huge in terms of leadership - things clearly DID NOT go to plan yesterday, but I saw a qb and OC who stuck the course and won a game on a day when some other teams crapped the bed. And I’d rather play a game like this going into the BYU game bc we’ll be pissed at ourselves.

My least favorite thing this week was Sam's post-game presser. I love him to death but he acted like a bitch to Biddy. Biddy actually asked legit questions for once and he got all defensive of the O-Line and how he was rotating guys. On one hand I'm glad he's pissed. It's obvious he's not happy with the line. On the other I'd appreciate if he could direct it where it's needed instead of acting like a baby in the press conference.

Biddy was right though. Eventually you have to stop running guys out there and pick 5 guys and get some consistency on the line

Not sure what y’all expect? We hired a career o line coach with triple E Tits that thinks the pinnacle of life is Lake Hamilton with a hog statue eatin’ sausage and drinkin Bud Light all day.

Y’all think this dude gives a legit F about going 6-7, 7-6, whatever turd record it’s going to be?

He’s 61 years old and got F off Arkansas money after doing what anyone with half a pulse can do here.

We’re going to get what we hired and paid for, just like we have all 3 seasons with Tits McGhee.

This will probably be my last post this season but it’s respectable y’all still come around to shoot the shite about the sun rising every day. Enjoy.

I trust Sam’s judgement over biddy’s opinion.

In basketball Muss has the luxury of trying new lineups and if he loses a few games while getting it fixed then so what, they’ll be ready come March.

In football if they lose a couple of games it’s over except for a meaningless bowl game. Kind of unfair but that’s the facts. This team is trying to figure it out in a short window and if it looks bad but wins I can deal with that.

Many new players and trying to find the best combination isn’t easy but fortunately our schedule sets up to try things we wouldn’t normally be able to do.

I wasn’t happy with what I saw Saturday, but hopefully this is just growing pains and will withhold my judgement until we play lsu unless we shite the bed against byu.

But I do like the defensive aggressiveness and improvement in the secondary, hopefully that’s not smoke a mirrors because of the opponents.

Go Hogs!

Let me know which part I was wrong or “dramatic” about.

Didn’t say I wasn’t going to watch or it wouldn’t be fun.

In my eyes, “sad” is not knowing who you are and what you paid for.

Is this supposed to be an up year? We lost a crap ton off the talented, but often injured team from last year IIRC.

Don't tell the Harvey Updyke Gump fans that.

Arkansas was picked fifth in the West.

That includes one of the best QBs and RBs in the SEC. But the media is very skeptical of the rest of the team and they have good reasons.

It depends on your expectations.

A good year for Arkansas is 8-4/9-3.

Some fans will say that 7-5 is a good year but that is doubtful. I would consider it underwhelming, no difference in going 6-6.

So no one really knows what kind of expectations they have in Fayetteville.

Damn what a melt. After a win lol.

I get where you’re coming from but Sam isn’t Chad Morris. We’ll be alright long term
