Of Arkansas sports media finest, Dudley Dawson, re: Mike Anderson, "He is neither a hall of fame coach nor a terrible coach."
We have accepted mediocrity with Mike and that's where we will stay with him here unfortunately.

You can say this about all sports at Arkansas except baseball right now.

Yep. To be fair, Chad did inherit a dumpster fire and he is at least showing signs of improvement in recruiting. Mike has whiffed on so many recruits its sad.

Not really. This class is 6th in our division. It's mediocre, and people are celebrating it.

We are what we are: a program that desperately needs to move to the Big 12.

We signed more four stars than we ever have in our history. Hudson Henry and Treylon Burks are really 5-star players but are rated as four-stars because they committed to Arkansas. It was an amazing class, stonehog. This shtick is as old as Pio's defese of Mike Anderson.

6th in this division with a 2-10 record is doing work. He at least has the wait and see tag. Saban would have struggled walking into this.

and still top 25 nationally what's your point? If you have a top 20 team team talent wise you can play with just about anyone on any given Saturday. The first year Clemson won the title their average class rank from the last 4 years was 12. It's not about where finish in the division it's about getting top 15-top 10 nationally which will put us in elite talent category giving us a shot to compete with anybody.

if everything but competition were equal big 12 It would be a no brainer but it's not all equal. wed have less money, exposure, and group reputation to leach off of.

Not to mention that whole Big 12 ceasing to exist in the next decade thing looming overhead.

To be fair, us joining them would give them a big boost and help curb some of that talk

Not that we're ever going to do that though

Another difference is that mediocrity gets you fired in football. Mediocrity in the SEC puts you at the bottom in football, but mid-tier in basketball, so I'm sure that helps.

Wow. 6th in our division, but top 25 in the country. As a 45 year fan of the Arkansas Razorbacks, I can honestly say that I would rather scrap the athletic department altogether, than cuck for Texass (Oklahomo now too) begging for their table scraps, which inevitably comes with their abuse and disdain. I can't believe I just read that.

The media especially Dud loves to suck the Coaches dicks. The midget blew Bert to get his start in the video biz.

Mike isn’t going anywhere until season ticket sales plummet or he has a losing season without a sweet 16 appearance.

Sad but that’s how low our athletic dept. has sunk.

The reason we hang on to Bucknam.

We have to play the teams in our division. That's who we should compare ourselves to. And every team except Mississippi State signed a better class than us.

What's YOUR point? We have a better class than Purdue, big fricking deal. How does that help us win the SEC?

If the University did this, I hope you all would burn your diplomas from your degrees. It would be the most ignorant thing they could do. Its better for the university to sit back and collect the paycheck versus move to the big 12 to win.

Just sucks for the fans who never get to experience a championship of any kind.

Our odds would increase but its not like we would be winning a championship in the Big 12 either. If we have accepted mediocrity then we are still going to be mediocre in the Big 12.

well we just had the no.22 ranked class when we only won 2 frickinv games so if we get to a bowl game I predict a top 15 recruiting finish.
